Looking forward to this one much more than Brands - but then that might just be because I've already driven this track/car combo. Think this is going to be a great race - assuming there's no more T1 pile-ups [cough]Pops[/cough] .

As long as we show some common sense heading into the chicane we should be okay ... but that's the thing with common sense ... it's not that common .

Tried this combo in week 13 but it felt alot different compared to the race we had at crimbo, guess that was the new builds taking affect. Will try it out tonight but probably wont be running the race.

I too will have to see how practise goes tonight before I decide if I'm safe to race here.

Car feels completey different from the race on the 29th Dec..... Cant even do a lap with the set up from that race. Rear end is so loose when balancing the throttle through the corners. Nearly 2 secs off my pb. I waas running a 53 rear wing now its at 71 . Maybe need a bit more time to get used to the car .

Yeah, I did 30 minutes earlier and had to do a fair a bit of subtle tweaking to keep the rear in check, especially in the first few laps when the tyre pressures are low and the ride heights follow suit. Did a 1:35.5 as my final lap which is comparable to the fun race.

Yes, we all voted for the Dallara in it's earlier guise, when it was fast and easy to drive, probably the easiest single seater in iRacing. Now I'd say it's one of the hardest, which is probably more realistic. I'm certainly enjoying the Mazda more now (read that as less taxing on my meagre ability!!).

Yeah Ken think the Dallara would be more challenging to drive against the Mazda so it seems more accurate.
The first couple of laps will be interresting .

It's a bit harder to drive now, but I'm mostly back to where I was. I have a longer 6th gear this time I have no idea where I am in the grand scheme though, so I could be at the sharp end again or mid-pack. I'll just have to wait and see.

I did a mid 34 last night, but I will undoubtedly fall apart like a cheap watch this evening!!
