The server is now up for this event. IMPORTANTThis is a full length GP race, so please practise your pitstops in an offline race for this event. Be aware that most cars will need to take on fuel and that some cars will not restart. If you car does not restart, the workaround for this is to make sure you do not have a STARTER button or an IGNITION button assigned in game. This way your car will automatically cut engine and then restart once refuelling is complete. Test it and make sure it works for you. You have been warned

How long do you think this race will last GT? (i.e. your laptime x 60)

I'd say between 70 and 75 minutes including the warm up lap and pitstop(s). Easy peasy Edit: Oh and it's 65 laps not 60

Has anyone done any race trim laps yet, just wondering what a good consistent race lap time here should be? Currently hitting 1:05-6, but I'm sure I'm losing time through the righ, right, left section before the turn into the chicane.

I've done a lot of testing here for this series, so as you might expect my times are quicker in the Benetton. There's lots of time to be found in these corners but getting them right consistently, especially as tyres wear will be the challenge.

[/quote] LOL, I guess as you've made no mention of time there that you're quicker be some considerable amount!!!!

Hi chaps I'm going to miss even this one... Is more than three weeks I don't make a race nor touch the steering wheel . By the next week I should come back on track, or at least I hope so I guess that even the other VDA guys will jump the race. Have a nice and funny final race. Cu soon

That is exactly what happened to me. It was a good race 'till then. A little lonely towards the end maybe but, I love the cars so it was still fun for me.

I had that happen on the server last night, thought it was my pc?
was going well in third before a small error put me in 4th, then pitted and realised too that I chosen the wrong strat, opting for a 2 stopper, which turned into 3 for damage repairs.
Like that Ferrari a lot, but can not get round corners as fast as most of you guys, VERY frustrating pulling away on the straights only to be caught and passed in the corners lol
Still, qualified 3rd, PB since coming back I think
