Aghh 2x !! I'd prefer 3 hour race with 1x which would be a two stopper but hey ho sounds like fun regardless. Last time I ran here online there was a three lap finish bug where the race was finished after three laps even if it was set to 60min race.

I like the sound of this race. I just hope I don't lose connection again after a pitstop.

Hmm a 2 stopper is three stints each at 26.6 minutes, that's like doing a 52min stint on 1x. Possible but tyres will be wrecked by end of stints for sure..

3 stops would mean 20 minute real time stints, which seems a little short. Perhaps you need to take hard tyres.

Will they do (equivalent of) 52 mins on a full tank also, given the constant full throttle and high speend on the long straights? BTW, Congrats on the recent wins Rich. Ill try and get some practice in for this race, so hopefully be able to meet up for some laps. Looking like saturday night tho' as gonna be busy tomorrow night and saturday morning fitting bits n' bobs to car. just realised, inbetween Eurosports coverage of the real 24hr race will have to be praccy time. .............need more time :'(

Thnx. Yep 3 stops 20min stints. If a stop is say 60 seconds that's a third of lap here.. 20 mins is 1200 minutes, lets say 2 stopper is doing 3m03 which is 93 min, 1200 divided by 93 = 12.5 laps. If 3 stopper does laps of 3m00 which is 90 that's 13.3 laps. Well highly inaccurate but towards the end of stints 2 stopper is going to struggle, 3 stops sounds good. Leuv I was wrong about MoTec 100hz thing, it's buggy got to be left on 10. It does show bottoming out but for real quick nips the rate at 10 is sometimes a bit too infrequent to catch it!! Best way is saving a bunch of hotlaps and watchin for it .. I can do some practice on Saturday night for sure, maybe server will be up. I'll go on all night me, 100 laps easy. If you go on server, send me PM ..

just realised, inbetween Eurosports coverage of the real 24hr race will have to be praccy time. .............need more time :'( It's not on Eurosport this year, it's on Motors TV. And there are no breaks! Oh yes, no breaks. This weekend is going to be exhausting I think. When I start watching it I can't stop anymore That means practice tonight after the Jerez test I guess

Oh and it's 2 mandatory stops, there is nothing preventing you taking a 3rd or 4th or whatever you need.

Are we going to try a rolling start with the pit limiter? It's going to be a very long pace lap so perhaps after a predetermined point rather than all the way round?
