Non Champ Event
Practice: 19:45 (30 mins) Qual: 20:15 (15 mins) Race : 20:30 (30 mins)
Cars allowed: BMW 235i Racing Track: RaceRoom Raceway Bridge Time of Day Setting: 13:00 Weather: Dry
Start: Standing Tyre wear: Normal Fuel consumption: Normal Pit-stops: None required
Notes: (1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage. (2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the rules about in-game chat messages. (3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the relevant Track Packs for this series (4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit. (5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface) Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Seems rather underpowered for Spa.... might change it to Portimao, or maybe Brands Indy?

It's a 235i not a 325i Matt. Thanks Matt there was a 325 which if I remember correctly was top of the E30 model range for a short period. Have now bought the 235i.

Any shortish track would be ideal I reckon.

Just had a few laps around here, indeed is good fun in these cars, they handle the kerbs quite well.

We've used the R3E Bridge layout before, and it works well.
Server set with usual race password. Once again I am doing penance in London so someone needs to connect at 19:45 UK time to start the clock Thanks

These are good fun A bit underpowered, limited setup options and easy to drive, but not so easy to find those last few tenths. Obviously not rear-engined, but nevertheless kinda reminds me of a more modern NSU and I think the racing in them is going to be just as close. Could be a worthy alternative to an NSU series in future. Would never have even considered them without the suggestion from Geoff/Bill, so thanks chaps!
