(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules (https://www.simracing.org.uk/index.php?pid=7) especially the rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Power and Glory v2 from here (http://www.gtlw.co.uk/), 2.1 patch from here (http://www.gtlw.co.uk/) and enable terrain patch.
(4) P&G has no 'Pit Speed Limiter' function. You may go as fast as you like in the pits, but please exercise caution. Penalties will be handed out for causing contact in the pit lane. Use your best judgement when making your pitstop during the race.

This doesn't effect the Mustang/Falcon use rules

Well that's a bit off!  To put it mildly.  >:(

You mean that I could have taken the Mustang for the past five races and gained a better result?  The Falcon Mann and Westlake are a much better bet so those who have used used up all their Mustangs don't have to struggle with that heap of a Sprint!

I know that it has been a long season but if we have a regulations structure can we not keep it in place until the finish?  What was the point of my spending time on car selection strategy?

I'm miffed!

Apologies Clive. I clearly hadn't considered all the nuances of such a decision. My aim was to let you guys drive some full fat for the remainder of the season. I'll reverse my actions later this evening. Sorry for any miffness caused.

Despite falling victim to car choices just recently  ::) i'd have to agree with Clive and say its too late to suddenly allow a free for all as it would demean the efforts of those who have valiantly stuck with these lumbering beasts all season.
Next time maybe make the season a bit shorter  ;)

But got no problem with allowing tail end charlies to take the best of available class, if they can keep it on track  :)

Just to clarify.............

I was only offering a free choice of car, I was NOT proposing to dissolve the existing Mustang/Falcon allowance.

EDIT: Restrictions now back in place  :wetfish:

Understood Tony, it's just that the Sprint is such a dog compared to the Mann or Westlake.  I've wrestled the rotten thing around so many places whilst others have eaten up their Mustang quota.  I feel that they should get to enjoy the tyre eating heap, like I have.  LOL

Having just looked at the car allocation page, I see that it's only likely to have any impact on MJ and Stig.   ::)

The Falcon may eat more tyre, but it also eats the Mustang on the straights, som you might be in for a surprise Clive :- ))

The restrictions are now as there were before I had my "idea"  ::)

I hope you enjoy the remainder of this series and may the best driver win.

LOL

We already know who is going to win!

And I don't believe the Sprint is faster than the NTK either!

It has brakes but that's about all.

I have to apologize with Clive for the nudge before the last corner. Your driving style is surely spectacular, but it makes the things difficult to the followers. You drive like the drift king Keiichi Tsuchiya ;D ;D
In this way I was really surprised by your braking before the last 2 corners, in which you were losing a lot of speed compared to me and John, and even if I was not so "glued" to your bumper our speed was really different to do any manouvre to avoid the incident... So sorry :(

My lack of training surely didn't help me, and I was driving with a default setup. Evenmore I forgot to change the tyres before the start, and the 970 were totally burned after 8 laps or so of close action with John and Clive, and I decided to give up :(
I hope in a soon exit of P&G v3, but it's becoming a mirage.

Cu soon :)

Maybe not - did you read that:

 ;)

Nothing to say to last night's race - zero practicing and no convenient setup.
Tried to improve during race but had an engine crash early on.
Hope for better times and more time for practicing

Sorry for not attending. Alas i really have zero interest in lugging a Falcon around a track, the car really does nothing for me in the real or virtual world. As I've used my allotment of mustangs it's sadly left me with no incentive to race on in this particular championship. Sorry guys.

On the bright side, p&g3 looks even more mega than I'd hoped for  :) just wish they would release it!

Unofficial LapChart (http://www.justanotherpage.nl/Srou/PnG/GTR2_Limerock_2012_9_27_20_43/)

By a twist of fate ended up first before the regular aliens.
Expected to be overtaken by the others, but didn't mess up (well, only a little bit) and finished second.

Happy.

Congrats to JohnW

I think that John has got used to me but most other aliens just hit me.

If I am slowing up it's because I am trying to get the thing to turn and until it does I cannot put my foot back on the loud peddal!

Not to worry.

Perhaps v3 will give me something that I can drive!

Oddly I found the Mustang harder to drive here than the Falcon, though the mustang was slightly faster
if I could keep it on the grey part. Ended up last of the runners after a messy off, had little chance
of catching anyone, so went to bed with a cold.  :(
