The New season is about to start!
We've got one final test race this Sunday at Watkin Glen to test the New Car Pack v2.13.0.0 that we're using this season. See you on Track!

Details of all required info / changes made (that I can remember setting up...):
Due to significantly lower numbers last season, we will be running two single class championships (if numbers return, I'm sure dual class racing will too).
Series U13LS = 40 minute dry sprint races with the GTC cars.
Series U13UE = 60 minute changeable weather endurance races with GT1 cars & fuel usage set to x2 (will include a pit-stop)

Tracks
I've tried to freshen it up a bit, but hopefully you'll be at least familiar with most/all the tracks. Any track that was used last season (S12) is being rested.
GTC Sprint Tracks:
Barber
Road Atlanta
Castle Combe
Mid-Ohio
A1-Ring (Zeltweg)
Oulton Park
Charade
Snetterton
GT1 Endurance Tracks:
Dubai
Thruxton
TiAida Okayama
Le Mans
Zandervoort
Albert Park
Barcelona
Silverstone

Rule Changes:
The scoring has changed, the winner now gets 30 points & drivers down to 20th score points.
There is now a dropped score week. So as it's an eight race season, only your best best seven scores count.
You can change your car once for free, any further changes will cost you 50% of the points earned during your 1st race in that car.

Weather
GTC sprint races will be dry only.
GT1 Endurance races will be changeable weather. There will be a fairly accurate race forecast generated & made available shortly before the race server starts. Legzy/Picnic will input our interpretation of the local weather forecast into the generator, which comes complete with a small element of randomness possible (thanks again H@L).

Skins & Sound-Pack
We will continue to use the existing (optional) GT1 & GTC Skin Packs v2.12.0.0 & the v2.10.5.0 Sound Pack (also optional)

Car-Pack changes
Some of these changes have been made to allow for 60min races on 2x fuel, others to "boost" the chances of arguably slightly slower less popular cars.
Changes from 2.12.4.0 that will be in use for Season 13:
GT1: global fuel tank increase of 40L and efficiency improvement of 10%.
DBR9 loses 2% of its efficiency gain and gains 5kg.
      C5-R gains 1% torque.
      550 gains 5kg.
      Ford GT loses 10kg.
MC12 loses 5kg, gains 5% efficiency, gets another 5L of fuel.
Murcielago gains 5% efficiency, gets another 5L of fuel.
      Saleen loses 5kg.

GTC: global fuel tank increase of 20L.
      DBRS9 gains 5% efficiency and loses 5kg.
      Z4M gains 5% efficiency and 5kg.
      Modena loses 5kg.
      F430 GTC loses 5kg and 1% torque.
      Exige loses 10kg.
Mosler gains 5% efficiency and 5L fuel.
      996 GT3-RS loses 5kg.
      Porsche 997 Cup gains 5kg.
Spyker loses 5% efficiency and 1% torque, and gains 10kg.
      Vertigo.5 loses 5kg.
Viper CC gains 5% efficiency and 5L.

Think that's everything, hopefully we'll enjoy some good grid sizes & plenty of fun but fair racing along with it.
But mostly, I hope I've not screwed it all up... bit late now if I have  Grin

Some nice track choices there Legzy for both classes thumbup2  Barber, Mid Ohio and Oulton Cool will be massive in a Porsche. Le Mans and Silvers are the GT1 highlights for me.

It's The H@l's "Weather Diagnose, Emergent, Development and Botch System" Berger. Wink

H@l designed a clever weather file that takes the real weather at the time into the race, spiced with a small random factor. Smiley

Just to clarify... At the top of all Gtr2 races, there is a local weather guide link(s), we interprate the weather from there to answer the questions H@L's generator asks us.

It is not going to be a perfect mirror of the real weather, but it should be pretty close most of the time.

All looks tasty to me. I've never raced Thruxton so I'm looking forward to that. I read a book on how to analyze data (throttle position, steering angle, etc...) from a data analyzer. The track most of the data came from was Thruxton. Hopefully the construction at my house will end soon so I can get back to racing.

I'll do my best to get to the events, but work and club racing take priority.

I thought the car pack uninstalled any old versions? I looked first to uninstall the last one but couldnt see any specific uninstalling icon. Ran the new carpack hoping it would uninstall but it just appeared to overwrite anything that was there.
