Bring back GTR2!

Dear All,

Come the end of this current GTR2 season, I'd like to step down as GTR2 director. So we'll need a new one please.

The two main factors in this decision are:
1) With the introduction of a couple of different challenges & a host of new tracks, UKGTR2 has ticked over OK (nothing more) this season so far. I think that's partly down to the community being spread so thinly these days, (we have a different race with a different sim nearly every night now) while demand for introducing some kind of new 'mod pack' of different cars seems at an all time high to satisfy the punters. After 20 months of organising races at SROUK, I just don't have the time/desire to take on a project like that anymore.

2) I'm pleased to report Mrs Legzy is due to give birth to our 2nd baby Legzy in March Cool. Any dads out there can read between the lines of that sentence Wink

So that's it really, I'll see it through till December when season 13 ends & then hope to hand over to one of you reading this. There are plenty of you out there that have enjoyed racing here for ages, enjoyed having opinions on what needs to change to improve, now take the chance to enjoy giving something back to the other drivers.

Thanks for your patience/good spirit to all those that have been taking part,
Chris
p.s. It's obviously not ideal timing what with Dave being down under for a bit, but I figured it better to get the information out there so that any interested parties could start thinking about what they want to do.

Congratulations to you Chris and Mrs Legzy.

Thank you for your hard work directing this season and sorry that I have not attended more - v.busy at work and a bit GTR'd out at the moment. Good luck with the rest of the season and maybe we'll meet up again on track in a future season. I'm sure Pete will persuade me to return at some point.  Wink

More children? By all means, have another before the older ones grow up. Wink

Good move, H@l. You have my support in every way. Cool Maybe you will also get a child at the end of S14. Wink
