I'd just like to let you know that I won't be organising any further seasons of F188 following the end of this current series. Real life gets extremely busy for me come September and unfortunately I just won't have the time to devote to this.

I do hope that someone will step up to organise more F1 events as they have been so enjoyable for me and I think also for many others who have taken part. I've announced this now to hopefully allow plenty of time for this.

Thank you to all those who have helped me with this over the past few months  Cool

oh mate, that's a shame. Think you're modifications for this 2nd season have really had the desired effect about as well as could have hoped. Cool

Thanks for introducing it, I was blissfully unaware & it's without doubt been brilliant fun each week, not to mention being about the most popular sim here for the last 6 months. I Am Not Worthy

It's been so good in fact, I've been having to take my lunch break very very late or taking time off laugh

A shame goldtop, but completely understandable. Many thanks for organising the last two seasons, I've never really done any single seater sim-racing in cars more modern than the 60s prior to this and it's been terrific fun. Thanks again.

its been a great series mate and I take it you will still drive?

I am potentially stepping forward to help with the admin side, I'm sure H@L has enough to do or I can help him.

Thanks for your thanks chaps...it's been tremendous fun putting it together and I've enjoyed all the testing and research as much as the racing. A real labour of love which has brought back lots of great memories for me.

I'll definitely be racing as often as I can, but will need to juggle that with greater family and work commitments.

Really hoping someone will continue... crossing fingers

Me too  thumbup1

The F1 races require a bit more admin work than the other races. You have been doing a fine job GT.

I can carry on helping out in the way I have done so far but, not sure I could do everything.

Good to hear you are interested in helping out with admin Purdie. thumbup1

now i'm single and kicked my gf out my house after 3.5 yrs, I feel like I have too much spare time!!! (celebrating hehe)......Something a few of you guys don't!

I might not be able to make every race but I can do all the behind the scenes stuff and server starting etc or whatever is required  Smiley

And lets face it, GT has setup it up pretty perfectly so if its not broken don't fix it! Except I get the mclaren every race  Roll Eyes
