I think we may have an issue. I can't get in as its telling me I'm already registered for another session which I'm not.
I'm wondering If I'm still stuck in yesterdays practice session as the results for this have never appeared. Can anyone who was in that session try and see if they have the same problem as me?

I was able to connect OK, PaulH and Brian are in there so it might be you Simmo  Dunno what to suggest, I've not come across this problem before. Maybe try stopping and restarting the iRacing service? |

Make sure you have the 'race' panel (*next to 'test') open and see if it thinks there's a session open there.

okay ive just removed the page file, see if that makes any blinking difference 1:41s for me here at best so hoping for a reasonable race but its all dependant on the system/sim not acting up. I see a few are on 39's though  |

ive just been wading through the IR forums trying to find similar problems to mine but other than a lot of bellyaching about the new build hitting fps for a lot of folks, nada to help Could be usual suspects i suppose ...nvidia gfx drivers need updating..again  Nv4 drivers updating ? G25 drivers...etc etc. It used to run great on my rig but havent been on it for a long while so perhaps it is something to do with the newer builds that have been released. oh well, its in the hands of the gods for tonight. If it plays up i'll do some P&G praccy at Interlagos instead  |

I'm really haddocked off.  Was on the server, was fine all through practice. Got to qually & started getting fps issues at key points on the track (corkscrew for example)... took about 6 laps to register even a disappointing 1:42 because of it. No way I'd be able to race with it so restarted PC. Started iR again & hosted races, put my password in & it staged.... clicked join & it tried but failed to connect to server. Tried again & again & again. Meanwhile I know from TS that you're all waiting on the grid... clicked retire, to go out & come back in... only our session has now disappeared from the server list. Result, one hacked off driver after the effort I've put into practicing this combo . Codding Halibut! |
