Track: Barcelona Cars: Free car choice Weather: Dry Race Distance: 18% (32 mins) Server Name: UKGTR (will be broadcast in the lobby) Time: Qual2 - 8:30pm, Race - 9:00pm (approx) Rules: General rules are the same as for any race, e.g no speeding in the pit lane, please familiarise yourself with the rules from the website if you haven't already. Start procedure will still standing start followed by 1 pace lap led at moderate pace by the pole sitter as per normal rules. Sessions: Are set to non time scaled, so orderly voting is required to move between sessions.
** IMPORTANT NOTES: ** 1) The server is up broadcast in the lobby all the time so feel free to join at any time. Please note as part of the testing, outside fun race hours we may need to restart the server to change configuration or update the game in some way. We will try to keep this to a minimum. The password and server name will not change throughout the 3 days unless stated otherwise. 2) This is a trial so if you experience anything wrong, e.g. high pings, can't connect, can't see game in lobby etc, please post in the forums. Try to refrain from using in game chat for reporting this as with large numbers of players this becomes difficult and we would like a record of the problems found. The server will be available for 3 days so don't dispair if you can't connect or join in tonight. 3) During the fun race times, please watch out for messages from one of the admin team. We may be providing instructions during the sessions.

Thanks to all the guys at Barca tonight. Really good race until I stuffed it into the wall at Campsa.
I'm well down on pace to you guys. Will the league take the same format as UKGPL with a league for slower drivers?
As usual when I race online I got a PB (it must be the adrenaline)
Once again had no problems with the connection, which was solid throughout. Thanks to all you guys who have put in all the hard work.
Nice to see a very high standard of driving again (well it was at the back of the field)
Looking forward to next race

Was a bit of a disaster for me. Mourali had a PC problem, and his car was virtually stopped on the start straight. I just managed to avoid him, but barged the the Saleen next to me, causing him to spin. I then missed my braking point at the end of the 2nd fastest straight and took out Smoothy, apologies. Later in the race a recovering car pulled out straight in front of me onto the racing line, taking me off the track. Finally, when I was racing Lee Hayward his car was invisible. I could only see where he was because I'd pressed tab for the name indications. I thought I could see where he was well enough to pass him on the main straight but managed to clip him, lukily not taking him off the track. Sorry Lee, I should have retired when I saw I had that problem.
I have a client replay if anyone wants it. It also has invisible cars at some points of the race. Not sure if it's a problem with the replay file itself or my client.

If we get enough drivers. Tonight's turnout was very good, I think we'd've had a full field but for a couple who dropped out just before the race (through choice or not I don't know). You might want to try the Corvette as it's very nearly as fast as the GT cars but easier to drive. The Vertigo is also very easy to handle, and nearly able to match the N-GTs for pace.

We did actually get a full server replay from this one. Well, four copies of it in fact. I dunno whether its GTRReporter or GTR itself which is so utterly hopeless at handling replays. Probably both!
