If the weather will not be fixed and stated in advance of the event please say so now, then I know not to to bother. I'm not in the camp of variable weather adds something positive to the races/racing but I'm not adverse to a race where I know the conditions up front and can at least do 5 or 10 laps to get a feel for it.

I'm with Pete. Wet, damp or dry set in advance is good. Variable/lottery weather is not for me.

got to say...shock horror...i actually enjoy these! Just tried a full grid at Brands and it was pretty intense full on racing. When i tried them last week briefly they seemed too slow but thats because i tried them straight after the Caterham race. Now i havent been near simracing for a week they felt great. As usual, the sounds and gfx are stunning, making the cars look real. Hope i can make at least the first race but 50/50 chance at present. Still prefer GT racing

Wednesday is a tough night for me to race, I usually can't start driving till about 8:30 & so still feel quite 'rusty' when we start. On top of that, my daughter as refusing to go to sleep tonight & I had to race with my headphones round my neck so I could listen out for her leaving her room . I only had to park up once (to send her back to bed) in the end, but it's surprising how much you rely on hearing your engine/tyres when sim racing... & so I was a bit average tonight. That's it, other than my cats ate my homework, I'm all out of excuses p.s. I've only had the chance to try the one car so far, but it feels decent to me (BMW E90).

same as Legz, wedsnesdays are pretty tough for me to get near the pc yet alone race so didnt get to enjoy the experience without any decent praccy. I was woefully off the pace in the Alfa, smart as it is, just suffered too much understeer as not sure how to setup a fwd touring car !? Racing was decently close and cars looked good belting round Brands. Could only stay for race 1 without calling in the U.N.

Those Italian women, eh? Couldn't get close to my pb in quali. Start was funny: I was able to get 3 or 4 places right of the bat - was it 'cause of the beemers RWD? Car was ok until the tyres were worn above 10, then it was a real struggle. Is it suppose to be like that? It felt like FWD has the advantage in that stage of the race, just couldn't get the power down. AI was in the way, I lost 2nd place 'cause of it in the first race. If we can somehow mod the tyres usage or make use of the harder compounds (like in PorscheCup mode) we might get a test endurance race chance. Otherwise short stints like this are the only option. Grats to podys and Mcfids for overall win.
