A series completely to forget for me
Wasn't aware that the car for me is so difficult to handle.
Will always remember and adore the one and only and legendary Edgar Doeren who won the
24 hrs race at the Nuerburgring in 1988 in a private entered and over 10 years old Carrera RSR against
all the factory teams and drove the car many years at the Nordschleife mostly one-handed, waving with
the other hand to the spectators
Unfortunetly he died far too early on cancer on 1st April 2004.
On starting the qualification I lost my FFB and had to restart my equipment (first time this happened)
and in race at the end of lap two I missed the last corner and turned into pits instead
.
So I quit.
Thanks for organizing & grats to the winners (another win for GTLDK - I didn't contribute much)
CU on track
