Saw a motoring show on TV last week which featured the Mark 2 Jag. Apparently in the late 50's, early sixties it was the car of choice for bad boys cos it outran anything the rozzers had and it had loads of room for swag. Didn't mention them blowing up tho.

Oh dear, not good. I "think" when i did my 3.0 I copied my GTR2 directory and installed 3.0 on to that. Not sure if 3.1 will go directly onto a GTR2 clean install, or whether it needs a 3.0 to update?

Now the news about my P&G V3.1. It's working! I have installed a new clean GTR2 inside my other disck (D: ), but working at my C: desktop shortcut. Anyway, installed V3.0 and all went fine, then installed V3.1 and no popups error windows this time. With all my fingers crossed, tested with a few cars (OMG that Zakspeed Escort) without any issues. Just one thing, when I click on the shortcut of P&G3.1 the 'Updater' doesn't show (installed at D: disck but running at C: disk), but the game runs well with my new profile. So, if I have time to set up game configs, might have time to join you guys. Btw, where is the server's P/W?

I was actually relieved to crash out of that one. Didn't enjoy it at all, sorry Matt, that track is awful.
Congrats to the podium, cya next week.

My replay won't run so I can't find out who punted me off in the chicane just before the start/finish.
I endured the longest pit stop in living memory as I thought that there could be a few retirements.

I think it was a great car/track choice Matt. A narrow track with slow cars is bound to create close racing, and that's what it's all about IMHO. If the grid had been twice as big, it would have been even more fun. Also in this race, the handicap system worked very well. It's fun for the slower racers like me to have a chance to keep up with the aces :-))

Thanks Stig. It actually was Tony's suggestion, and I think it was a good one, perhaps with Tinas and Minis but I liked the big Jags here.
