Was a fun race! Had a few laps of practice and then during quali I had an important phone call so did a lap with the phone to my ear, hence 20th! VERY VERY SORRY to the guys behind me on the pace lap, eespecially Peter Allnut (picnic) who I tapped on the back, just lack of concentration and no excuse I wanted to say sorry on chat a lot!! Thank you for being patient with me. Brilliant scrap with Purdie early on, held him and Legzy up for nearly half the race before finally my need for traction overcame the ability of the rears to supply it.
Was great fun Dave! Highlight of the race for me ! You looked like the car was suffering herrific understeer but because you were slow on the apex's I couldn't accelerate out of the corners any quicker than you. I had the ride height 5.5cms at the front and 8cms at the back to get some weight over the front, it definitely helped a little in that DBR9. Got a stop/go the lap after and followed MJ's example with 2 more! Great car to drive though and will def get more serious with the GT1 Sprint

My race went perfect and luckily with no PC problems. I was on holidays the last 5 days, i.e. I was drunk for 5 days and I'm still recovering. Back for the first laps in the game 2 hours before the race I thought my skills had been lost somewhere lol but I practiced quite a bit to have a solid race. A real shame teammate RR couldn't finish 2nd. Congrats to podium

Wow, great race Busi was way too fast for me in Qualy and the race. I got an early Pole with a lap that I thought no one would beat (silly me) Busi then beat my time by 4 10ths of a second and by more again on his last lap I think. I was not too bothered as i don't like the pressure of leading the warm up lap I did however have a great battle with RoadRunner (by my standards). He was never more than 2.7 seconds behind for what must have been 25 to 30 mins of the race. I then made 2 mistakes on 2 laps in a row and that was all RR needed to get passed. I did my best to stay close so that I could jump on any opportunity. I tried really hard to pass and almost did it a few times but I was just not able in the end. Then disaster! We approach 2 cars that are a lap down and are fighting. Me and RR are on the final lap. One of the cars spins and RR has no where to go. Very unfortunate racing incident. Me and Gazza wanted to wait for you RR but I did not think it would be a good idea to hesitate as there were so many cars near by at the time. I was also not sure if you would be able to continue so I carried on to the end. Thank goodness it was dry, see you all at the next one

No cut track warnings! Just 2 stop n go's Need I say more! Frustrated as I was having some great battles with about 5 cars further down the field! Seeing Simon spin at the chicane was my best memory !

I had a slow, albeit steady and solid race. Qualified 6th and after the first laps commotion I came to 5th place and kept it with Carl Hart close for the whole time. At the end, when Roadrunner had a puncture I planned to outdrag him on final straight but miscalculated and hit him while he was still in the chicane. Didn't want to overtake him then, it would look a bit sick in my view, so I stayed 5th. Bad luck for MJ and JPS. Grats to podium. Too bad it was dry... TT

Qualy was a laugh. Joined the server just at the end of Practice & was straight into Qualy. Not ideal preparation & my laps were stuck on a high 1:48 till my very last lap completed in the last few seconds, saw me get a pleasing 1:46, meaning a rare spot ahead of team mate Blunder on the grid. I was pleased to make a good start to the race, whilst listening to his encouragement "I'll just pass you when you spin off in two corners time" Put in some good opening steady laps, making up a couple of positions. Then I had Dave in sights & started closing the gap, but Purdie was closing the gap on me too & we had a good few laps of me trying to get right on Dave but Purdie was able to attack me more. I ran a little wide & Purdie got through... then I was trying to make the gap back up & span out as I tried to get the power down too quickly coming out of the chicane at the top of the hill which cost me a couple of places (including Blunder ). Then I seemed to be stuck to the back of Evert's car for the next ten laps. I felt I was quicker through a couple of places but just couldn't take advantage, then I tried forcing a move under braking on the Chicane before the home straight & made a mess of it, taping the inside of your rear end as you started your turn I think. Sorry about that . I pulled over while he got himself sorted again & flashed him through, so we could start it all again We went at it for another lap but then he went wide & I was through... to chase down Dave again, sadly not enough laps remained to catch him & I'm sure Dave would again not have given up his position easily Good race all, well done to podiums & finishers, unlucky to Blunder (next time buddy )

Bit strange on the pace lap as i couldnt see any cars ahead past Jose in the Fezza, but looking back i could pretty much see everyone. I dont have all cars visible in game, I have it set around 16 though thought it would split the visible cars evenly.

About visible cars set: this has been bugging me for some time now. If you, say, set it to 16 - does it mean you see up to 16 cars on screen (if they're around you) or does it mean the game will only load 16 of, say, 28 cars that are present on the server and all other cars will be invisible to you, possibly a cause of a mega crash?

I think you will see all the 28 cars if they drove passed you one at a time, the closest ones in view at any time.
If you join a session while cars are on track they cannot see you until they come back in to the garage, you can see them but you are invisible to them during that twilight period.

Mostly calm race for me at the back end of the field, decided to try hard slicks to see if I could pass some people towards the end sort of worked, I seemed able to hold speed while others were struggling, but it happened too late to be much use. Funny thing, during qual I had no cars within sight, yet I could hear a car's engine for one lap, thought maybe it was some weird echo of mine, but it came closer and dropped back at times. So, if I was holding someone up in Qual | do apologise, but I couldn't see you!

Poor race, spun 3 times Had a good fight in the last few laps with lazlow. Almost lost it every time I went through Piratella and Acque Minerale, had to drive right on the limit to keep him behind But at least this time I didn’t cause a pile-up on the first lap

Imola..... a track designed by the Devil himself. I hate this track. I am crap at this track, and I hate this track damn track!. The MC12 felt like a bus on shopping trolley wheels. It was truly awful. I really like driving the MC12 and have always had fun in it, but yesterday was torture, no fun at all, but I was determined to finish..... and I did. After 45 mins of wrestling the car around the track, more than a few tank slappers, spins, trips onto the grass, and multiple occasions of out braking myself....I crossed the line in a blaze of colourful language and pure hatred for a track sent up from hell to test me. I will not be taking part in the enduro....thats for damn sure!! H@l said yesterday that this track is all about technique, and he's right, it is. If anyone finds my technique, I'd like it back please ...other than that, it was a great race See ya at the next one RM

Note that the replay had the wrong name and was in fact from Sunday's Spa race - though the exports themselves were correct. I've uploaded the Imola replay and removed the other one.

Good race for the most part, was careful in first 2-3 laps as i didnt have any idea what grip levels i was gonna get..first race in the lister round there since ... Anyhow, kept H@L in my sights from the off..and Gazzer was never far behind..kept making small errors everytime i got close enough to think about trying a pass, then eventually a small mistake on H@L`s part was enough just after 1/2 distance, but could never get away..seemed much slower through chicane at top of hill..so run down to first chicane was interestin on a few occasions ..then couldnt shake him off at all for last 2-3 laps..was all over me everywhere..so really went for it..final lap 2nd chicane..went horribly wrong..Saw 2 550`s ahead..one was on grass..so i went right asap..unfortunatly Evett beat me to it..had a LF puncture an no chance of podium...realised i might be able to hang onto 4th..but kinda stopped dead in last chicane with damage, an got run into by TT...so could have been better..but im happy... Evett..no ones fault just racing..(the bad side ) TT...still think you was wrong to hold back after runnin into me..was exceptional circumstances, i was damaged..didnt expect it`d slow down as much as that either ..i only carried on as i realised i could still get some decent pts..didnt expect to hold you off in the first place RR
