1:43 for me in the C6 Vette so far. Might give the aston a go too. Anyone tried the new sounds for it over at No-grip yet?

I have a copy of GTR2 on its way to me through the post, I primarily bought so that I could install the P&G mod for GTL but after trying out the demo was surprised how much better it was than GTR - you can actually catch a slide in GTR2. Are there any spaces available in the GTR championship?
Cheers
Paul

There's no registration, and the Sprint races are never quite full so Tuesday night's aren't a problem. We had a full server on Sunday night for the Endurance race so if you want to race then it might be more of an issue!

OK cheers, I'll try the sprint events once I've got it installed and had a bit of practice so that I won't make a complete tit of myself Paul

I hope the car stopped with me, if not I hope I got in no ones way ROFL. This is what I saw...your car went at full pelt across the final chicane right through to the finish line where it punted Ade sky high yards before the line, promoting me another place. Poor old Ade, can't have seen that one coming and must have thought it was a conspiracy LOL. Had to laugh cause it was just so unbelievable to have happened there like that and then take Ade out just before the line. Anyone that wants to help me out with a Ford GT setup would be appreciated. I can't drive it very well and setup seems totally lost on me in that car.

Brilliant scrap with Purdie early on, held him and Legzy up for nearly half the race before finally my need for traction overcame the ability of the rears to supply it.
Couldn't get any heat in the fronts so was having a devil of a time getting the car slowed down and turned in. Once into the corner it was okay. It's pretty clear that I've not translated the setup improvements I made in the GTC Aston into the GT1 car - think I still need more ride height. Reasonably pleased with not making any major mistakes though.

what a flipping frustrating disaster that turned out to be :'( Must have put in about 70 odd laps of practise at this place over last couple of days and thought i had my setup working pretty fine. But tonight i was greeted with understeer city with the car really struggling to turn in It felt like i was using a completely different setup My fronts stayed cold despite moving some brake bias forward to try and get some heat in them. Race was in two halves. First half was good fun in a 3 way battle with Lazlow and Spanner. I was attacking Laz whilst he attacked Spanner ! Made for some great clean dicing for first 20 mins. Laz finally got by spanner and i lined him up for a move but could not find a way past for a few laps more. Then inexpicably my race went totally pear shaped as i picked up 3 flaming cut warnings in as many laps and had to take a stop and go penalty. That effectively ended my race as i dropped from a battle for 10th down to 19th :'( The final straw came about 2 laps after i exited the pits when with one solitary run wide i got an instant stop and go !...what the heck? I pulled over in disgust and retired. The cut warnings were all ridiculous bar getting my braking wrong for one up at that hilltop chicane. I hadnt got any in all my practise. Not sure if i enjoy GT1 really. I never seem to get a series of half decent results in this class no matter how much praccy i try and get in and think i would prefer more P&G time for myself. Will see.

Another good steady race for me. Tried holding off Lazlow but the inevitable happened, but a big sorry to MJ, I think i actually braked later than normal with Lazlows rear end so close misjudging it but i guessing the damage to your car was a bit serious as you seemed to drop back and looked like you were struggling a bit. Sorry mate, Was enjoying the dice and hoped it would last.
Qually was a bit hit and miss, few times i was a couple 5-7ths up but just couldnt carry it through in the last sector.
Only just managed to feel happy with the setup in the practise before the race, i can see the Aston not liking the twistier tracks.

Seems like something goes wrong when we go to race. Times were normal for me during practice and qual, then in race I lost my FFB in steering. Couldn't feel the car in wheel, felt like I was on ice. Hope to do better on Sunday.
