...on top off that my pit crew didn't bother to put any fuel in doesn't the pit strategy thing work in advanced setup? so after another pit i was dead last i think. yes this work, but you have to notice two things: 1. stop the engine 2. be carefull with your position, if you don't stay exactly on the right place, the pitcrew don't start their work and they won't start if you adjust it. another pitstop is the only way @ruskus it's not necessary to change tires. png is oldscool. you can drive with them until the death end. ignore the tire wear display. the only thing you have to check is the temperature. if you overheat them, just take it easy for a while and let them cool down.

GTR2XD Showed a wear of around 30 which they felt like and times were getting slower, so tyres were definatly a must, as normally above 36 wear they can pop

I didn't have much time for practicing this week so went for the Alpine, the safe option. I was lucky early on in the race, I missed most of the mayhem and made up a few places. Most of the race was pretty uneventful, I was trying to be consistent and not make any silly mistakes. During the last few laps MJ was closing in on me, despite a PB on the 3rd last lap he passed me on the start/finish straight, but I got on the outside of T2 and just managed to hold him off for the rest of the last lap. I enjoyed the track, with lots of fast bends it is the kind of track I enjoy. Hope we can race here again in some quicker cars.

Tires were a must for Ruskus. I was gaining on him 2 laps before the pit. I knew his tires were shot.

I enjoyed last nights race, particularly during the first few laps when Bill and I battled away. Hope I wasn't anything to do with your retirement Bill.
Grats to the podium and thanks to the "overtakers" for being considerate to us 'slower' types.

Bit dissappointed I couldn't match the lap times I had been doing in practice but race was fun until I binned it . Bogged it off the line & lost several places & then got into a great scrap with Clive, Henry & SeniorDan. We were soon caught by the recovering Ade & Ian who also briefly enlivened things. Managed to break away with Ian & Ade but unfortunately bumped Ade into a spin :'( & had to do all the work again. Caught up with Clive & Henry again & resumed our battle only to clip the wall at one of the fast rights & spin into the wall the other side of the track. Result, dead engine, so that was the end of my race. Really liked the track & hope we can race here again in future. Congrats to the podium (Kerbies 1-2 again). Cya all at Lakeside.

All the fun was with T. Muttram and API. I forgot how many times T.M. and I swapped positions. Again, one hell of a nice and clean fight. Well done to both. By the way, is there any Alpine with a 2000 cc turbocharged engine? Congrats to the podium. Hats off to Manteos for racing even with his handicap situation. Unbelievable that noone hadn't put Ian out of the race in almost 1 hour of recovering through the all field (myself included) I'm joaking, well done supreme Comander of the outer space civilization, astonishing recovering. Cheers

Had a fantastic race. With odd mistake and hairy moments. I hardly ever drive the Renault Alpine and was surprised by its good albeit slightly understeery handling. So far racing with you guys has been a privilege but I do have to accustomed to absolute "radiosilence" during races. You have to believe me when I say that my occassional "sorry" and "np" buttons have been hit out of cheer habit before I even realize. Tony, I have opdated my profile. Clive and Stig, Love being in a team with you chaps. And Clive stop wobbling when I am right behind you ! Cheers, (Senior)dan.

I was happy to return to race yesterday! Having some pain to my leg, I decided to race lying on my bed, scared about the chance to make some mistakes in the "fat Stang". I managed to go slower than usual but I think I had not cause troubles to the people near me, and that's just a good result!!! I stayed quietly behind mr. Matt Rowe, at the start but after 2 laps I had to give up him, because my pace was more than one second slower, and the tyres consumption due to x2 and probably to the pad, was really high. I was in 9th during the ninth lap pit lap, but with an army of Alpines behind me that I let pass me easily 3 corners before the pit entrance. At the pit I changed the tyres (red and totally burned!!) and refueled a bit... but not enough to finish the race unfortunately ... When missing only 2 laps to go I've done a second pit and then I finished behind Ade, but extremely happy to see the checkered flag!!! Surely the Alpines here had a strong racing advantage in terms of consumption, but the Stang was a lot more funny in my opinion to drive with the pad, and I decided to choose it, even cause I'm not battling for the champ, and the classement was far away from my thoughts in this moment. I'm even pretty sure that without x2 compsuntion my final position would have been better than a 19th place, but I've got to train more with the pad to be competitive for the top ten positions! Thanks for your kind words guys, even those have a good influence on my low moral at the moment Grats to the podium, and to all finishers! Cu soon guys!!!

Yes a good evenings entertainment. I didn't retire I had to make a pit stop for fuel. Despite making your car as wide as possible I managed to get by on the faster sections, although one dive down the outside at T1 resulted in a cut track warning at T2. Some places we were fairly evenly matched and others you were way faster. Missed out on half an hours practice. Wednesday my wife dusted my computer layout and managed to get my router/printer electrical splitter box on/off switch right on the "rock". After driving Wed. and yesterday up to and including after tea for a while, when I tried to practice I couldn't log on. Ping Plotter showed OK for about half the jumps - so I assumed wrongly it was a line problem. After off line practice I tried again, nothing, I noticed all my router lights were off so I checked my splitter and the power on light was off even though the switch was on then I found the problems by switching off and on. What a ******. Bill

Thanks all for the great racing. I was expecting a lonely race because of all the times posted but boy I was wrong! Had some great battles all race long with - amongst others - MJ, GT and Sandor. Thoroughly enjoyed it and all clean (hope I didn't cut you off at the corner GT).
Congrats to Beings-from-outer-space and to my teamies for the great results. Sandor beat me fair 'n' square with only a minor difference on the s/f.
Off to Bush now..

Got hit 6 times tonight by 5 different drivers. One was partly my own fault when i got out of shape in the double hairpin but the others were either from behind or being cut up into the wall by desperate defending. Best racing of the night for me was against Alex vw who raced close and clean with no contact, unlike a few others nearby. Will watch the replay later and make some reports.
I know we collided several times but I hope your not accusing me of desparate defending. If you watch the replay you will see that I took the same lines around this circuit on every lap. We collided as I was unaware of you closeness to me. I always came off worse anyway
