Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 933s

Colin Hines is following Baracus closely into the Startkurven; Backo, the next car back, brakes very late and taps Colin's right rear corner. The contact isn't enough to know Colin off but Backo forces his way inside the Ferrari and takes the place while Colin wrestles it back under control.

Backo's car then runs a fraction wide on the exit and slows enough to cause Colin to give it a love tap from behind, and the resulting loss of momentum allows Mo to also pass Colin.

I'm satisfied that there was no intentional contact here, but Backo should really have done the gentlemanly thing and not taken advantage of his initial contact with Colin's car.

  • BACKOcaution — taking a place through contact
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 1073s

Beholder has departed the track coming out of Hansen, allowing Picnic to pass. Picnic then copies the error on the exit of Gislaved, but bounces off the tyres protecting the pit wall and is sent back across the track to the right just as Beholder has committed to pass on the right. Beholder does extremely well to miss him by taking to the grass, but is off line for turn 1 and is slower than Picnic anticipates and the latter runs into the back of him, pushing him over the grass.

  • Racing incident

Server replay time: 1436s

Baracus and Mo and working their way through traffic on the runway; Baracus brakes fractionally early and Mo fails to shed enough speed, clipping the back of Baracus's car at the apex and spinning him round into oncoming traffic where he is clipped again by Anthony Humphreys who is spun multiple times onto the grass and then struggles to recover.

There was certainly no intent here but the huge mismatch in speeds between the two cars, neither of which was in close proximity to another and both of which were on or very close to the normal racing line is a puzzle.

  • mowarning — rear ending Baracus
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 1481s

Jure is about to lap Anthony as they exit the Startkurven, but Anthony lifts off dramatically before Jure has a chance to pull to one side and is promptly and predictably rear ended as Jure is taken completely by surprise.

  • Splintheter (Anthony Humphreys)caution — don't lift off to help a car passed until they have moved out from behind
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 1799s

Similar to the Mo/Baracus incident at 1436, this time with Mo breaking slightly early and Picnic braking slightly later. Mo very nearly rescues control of his car and Picnic backs off (even allowing TrueTom past) but gets back on the throttle about half a second before he's completely cleared the grass and goes off again.

When Mo catches up again two laps later Picnic allows him to retake the place.

  • picnic (Picnic)warning — light rear end contact with Mo
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Go the event page (there is a link off the race announcement) and at the bottom is a show password link. Click it and it will update the page to show the passwrod.

Come and join me in GT2/GTC enduro (haven't decided which yet!) Mark we can continue our long racing scraps across the leagues!

If i am allowed to i would certainly enjoy a GT2/GTC scrap in the other endurance championship, got to confess i am confused as to what i can and cant race in and whether i can score points or not in both endurances Huh  Embarrassed

Is the plan to run clubmen enduro and masters enduro on alternate weeks?

I don't think you'll find any Legends Vertigo's in the GT1 race ..... out mechanics are cigar smoking, Cinzano drinking, womanisers as you'd expect talented, but making the Vertigo competitive with the GT1 class might too much..... Tongue

Lol you could be right. However, I was taking about this

If i am allowed to i would certainly enjoy a GT2/GTC scrap in the other endurance championship

Personally speaking the more people, and especially Mark, that take part in the slower cars the better Smiley

Nothing has changed from last season except that:

  • Everyone is eligible as a reserve if they aren't full time. (In Endurance I expect full timers, if they join the 'other' championship, to take non-scoring cars.)
  • 'Academy' is now called 'Clubmen'.
  • There's only one 'NGT' championship

There are far too many people taking this far too seriously right now! If you would all shut up I'd be able to get on with the registration process a lot faster! Tongue

Alas, I now cannot this race, so that's one more place open to a reserve!

Hopefully you'll correct the spelling and call it Clubman.

Masters and Clubmen. Both plural. Saves arguments about apostrophe usage. Wink

In racing, clubman championships are always spelt with an a even though there are multiple club men. Google is your friend. Kiss Kiss
