Even the Junior is too quick really. 1.35.6 for me after a few laps. Best of 36.3 in the 250 and 36.2 in the z06, although the z06 I'm sure can be quicker. The damn thing is just so frustrating to drive round here as it refuses to rotate unless the speed is below a certain level. I'll probably drive the 250 just for the slidey fun of it

I'll give it a go later, when I'll come back from mine Football match... Cu later

The GR5 Abarth ought to be even quicker. Not sure that the Gr2 one will keep up though.
[Edit] Had a very quick go in the GR5 and it will do high 35s.

hmmm, just done my first laps ever at this place. Its..., err, different. Legzy how can you complain about Mosport being too tight for racing then pick a track that is almost single file for three quarters of a lap The tracks nice in a hillclimb/time trial kinda way but it doesnt do it for me for racing in these bigger cars eh well, each to their own. Will see if it grows on me a bit more, otherwise i'll leave one of them 24 slots for someone else

Only done a few laps tonight for the 1st time. managed a 39 in Jag, 38 in GTA, 37 in Z06 (white)
z06 was faster than I expected, but for me it is a perfect track for minis, and other little cars.

While this is a 1st time fun event at this track... I'm aloud to get it wrong at least once But I understand what you're saying about doubts over what it might be like for racing. I would have loved to have had the "Tiny slow cars" on here, but we've already had two races with them recently & figured people would want to see some cars we've not seen recently.

This is perhaps the closest thing I've come across to a mini-nurburgring. All a bit tighter and slower, but the feel is exactly the same

Cars allowed: Chevrolet z06 Coupe, Ferrari 250, Jag E-Type Coupe, Alfa Romeo GTA Alfa Romeo Junior Guys, I've removed the Alfa GTA from the available cars list & replaced it with the Alfa Junior. The Junior is still proving to be a little fast for the rest, so if you're one of our faster drivers & you want someone to race with to the finish... you might want to choose one of the others. But no worries if you stick with the Alfa Junior either, it's your race.

So pleased that I've only been wasting my time trying to drive the E-Type. I was planning to go back to the GTA as of tonight for some serious setup work but I guess that I will re-aim at Junior.
I have found turn 11 to be a sod. The one where it turns sharp left and goes up quite steeply. The only thing I have found to work there is to made the springs and dampers as soft as they will go, so that it keeps both its rear wheels on the ground.
What is anyone else doing there? Do you set the car up for the rest of the lap and just live with it at T11?
The GTA seemed to have its gears in the right place for this circuit. Hope the Junior is similar.

The junior and GTA are very similar. If you can set up and drive one then the other should be no problem.
I don't find the uphill left a big problem at all and certainly didn't change the setup to cope with it.

Must be my heavy right foot! EDIT Junior is very well behaved. Mid 37's in my first attempt. Turn 11 does not try to spit me into the scenery although I hope to get quicker there with a bit more practice. I'm losing out on a good deal of what PnG offers by just not gelling with the bigger bangers.

I don't think the Alfa drivers are going to have it all their own way you know. I'll take my chances in the F250 tomorrow

The 250 impresses me more and more every time I try it Its handling has far more depth than the others here and its a real challenge to drive it flat out but I won't be able to resist. Gotta add that the Jag is more fun than I imagined as well. Looks like the muscle gents may have their work cut out around here and I'm aiming for revenge for last week Mike Should be fun.
