Problems connecting to the Lobby? Download this:All members welcomePractice 1: ~19:20 (60 mins) Qual 2: 20:20 (20 mins) Race: 20:40 ( 40 mins) note: no warmup!Cars allowed: Chevrolet z06 Coupe, Ferrari 250, Jag E-Type Coupe, Alfa Romeo GTA Alfa Romeo JuniorWeather: Changeable, seeded from real-world conditions (hopefully with a pre-race forecast available on this thread at server start up time)Track: Ahvenisto (Download HERE) Time of Day Setting: 14:00 Start: STANDINGWARNING - MAXIMUM GRID = 24 (so get there early to avoid disappoint )Minimum Pit-stops: None required. Server: [PnG2.1] UKPnG Fun Password: see aboveNotes:(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage. (2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the rules about in-game chat messages. (3) You will need to install Power and Glory v2 from here, 2.1 patch from here and enable terrain patch. (4) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page(5) Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of every-one's connection will be reduced.(6) Remember that P&G has no 'Pit Speed Limiter' function, but our gentleman's agreement is that everyone will stick to a speed limit for the pit-lane of 40mph/60kph.

I remember this track as a beautifully modelled but tortuous goat track that almost made me throw-up when I raced there in GPL.
It's half way to the Arctic Circle, it's the middle of winter and now we are going to have "Legzy Weather", seeded from local conditions?
Can't we have the weather seeded from Laguna Seca instead?

The driver of that BMW needs to open up his hands on the wheel. One day the back is going to step out to the point where he won't be able to catch it.

I enjoy driving the C2 vette in any form on all tracks. Maybe I'll try one of the lesser Z06's instead of the white #5. Ian, which will you be driving? The Alfa should be quick here.

I've seriously prioritised this race to get some practice in early as it's just a track I've loved testing So rather unusually, I have some times to post early (in order of testing): 1:39.7 - Chevrolet z06 Coupe = Was surprisingly enjoyable considering how twisty the track is, but I'm rubbish in Muscle. 1:40.0 - Ferrari 250 C = Very nice. Great fun sliding it round some of the bends, reckon I can improve this time. 1:39.1 - Jag E-Type Coupe = Probably the quickest car on offer here, but I felt like I wasn't getting the best from it. 1:38.3 - Alfa Romeo GTA = The easiest drive on offer & I did enjoy, but not sure it will have the power to get past any of the others.

I haven't tried the Jag E-Type coupè, but seeing Legzy's & Ade's laptimes it surely can be competitive with Alfas... However I think that Alfa is more than one second faster here than the other cars. Comparing Ade's 1.36.8 with mine 1.34.9 at the first shot, I think that it will be difficult to follow the Italian "Sporting Heart" of the GTA trough this track. With the 250 C I was on 1.37 low, 36 is possible; even with the Z06 in which I managed a 1.36 high it's possible to go down a bit, but Alfa here has "1 gear more" than the other. Waiting for some other laptimes... Maybe it could be a good idea add in this list the GTA Junior... I'll give it a try, and let you know my laptimes, if it fit the other... why not? Cu

Cu lol, you're just embarrassing my times Manteos Yes, please do give the Alfa Jnr a test too (especially if it can use the same setup that anyone might already have worked on for the GTA) & let us know how you get on

Not done much testing yet but managed a 38.9 in the 250 Comp and a 39.xx in the Alfa but had a CTD before I could save it.
The Alfa seems the nicest to drive. Not tried the E-Type yet but in my book the z06 is not driveable!

I didn't know the white one was faster? If the Z06 and 250 are about the same pace for me, I'll choose the 250 as that should be a fun match up again Any news on the weather front? Just make it dry?
