I'll be in the Panty or the Stang (have done 2:10 in both), do either of those come with built in hair dryer?

...some latent hairdresser's car...

I'll be in the 914. I'll also be bringing along my comb and scissors, so if anyone wants a quick short back and sides or a nice perm come and see me in the paddock  Wink

LOL
A kind offer but I probably won't take my crash hat off until I'm on the plane home.

@Legzy: Don't think that the Mustang will be coiffure dependent but not too sure about anything called a panty!  Sounds iffy to me.

If I could be there  :'( then I would probably be in a Panty or a 914. The 302 is seriously good fun here
but tyre wear is too much for my limited skills. I am soo looking forward to next week when I can
actually do a race!

I can't decide, the understeer in those twisty bits with the Mustang BOSS seems to haunt me no matter what setup tweaks or driving style I try!

Not a problem that I encountered with the Cobra.

It seems to be happiest when facing back the way it just came from!

Now that was a short race. I qualified really well in 2nd (though on soft tyres and low fuel). Then things started to go wrong: sitting on the grid, I wondered why the lights were already green. Then, when the grid was full, cars started moving (in my mirrors I saw a blue Mustang charging through the field), so I thought something with the lights was wrong and went as well, then was given a stop and go. While I digested this, the lights went red, then green, I floored it and hit the wall. I hit esc to get out of the way as quickly as possible. All in all, I must have raced for about two metres. Shit.

Yep.

Looked in my local drive to generate race report but found that the log did not contain individual lap times.
Autosimanalyzer won't have this.

Great race btw. Action all the way!

Fantastic Race,
Most of the race was me following Alex not being able to make a move. It was funny really because you could see where the Porsche was faster and where the Mustang was quicker.  Smiley Managed to keep behind most of the race and had some great side by side races in some places. By about lap 17 my tyres were gone because I was pushing so hard to keep up with Alex.

Well done all finishers and Jos for the Win.  Smiley

Thanks for yet again another epic race.  Smiley

 sweatdrop
Tremendous Race! (Eventually Roll Eyes)

Having qualified 4th on the grid (dizzy heights for me!), was disappointed to be starting 18th (now last, as it seems my new team mate unfortunately exited, unlucky there NPP Sad)
But what a race, 18th all the way up to 3rd. If only Jonzo had been there to see it be overtaken too Kiss

Some tremendous battles along the way, praise has to go to Purdie who obviously understood the differences between our cars & harassed me where he could while never putting the two of us in danger euro, then as thanks he got to eat my dust, watching as I disappeared down the straights Grin
Some good stuff with RoadRunner (& others) too, a lovely moment where I snuk past but he out cornered me through some curves to get back past Cool

Brilliant brilliant combo between the raw Mustang power, the handling of the Porka & the Panty sitting somewhere between them. Meant each driver I came to was going to present a different fight Cool

See you next week.
Chris

p.s. I think Clive's got it easy in these power cars, I reckon he should do a few in the lesser powered cars & show us his patience being stuck behind the barge I will now be driving lol

Replay is broken again. is only a 24k file. May need to reinstall PG next week.
Results posted. Two "unknown" drivers. If you get chance to register then I will try to regenerate the results so
you get points.

What happened at the start? looks like there were some false starts? I tested this (as I now test all events) for the
start, and it seemed straightforward. It sounded like the lights were green before the start, then went red
then green for the actual start? didn't notice that in testing.  Huh
