didn't test the Cobra yet but got mid/2.05s in the now dropped RSR. Didn't get to grips with the IROC. The Pantera will just about get into the 2.09s for me, Boss Mustang 2.10s. Will try the rest.
Is there a test server up? I can't see one.

Thanks NPP it's Monday, Tony will be running a GTL event, he will probably restart the PG practice server when his race finishes.

cheers! I get the Cobra into the 2.09s but that's hard work and the 914 could just get into the 2.10s. All of my times are with soft tyres and about 10 laps of fuel, my race pace thus would be considerably slower. I'll probably run the Pantera as I am not that much into the American muscle stuff.

If you are worried because of possible top speed advantage - don`t be.
Acording to MoTec this was my top speeds on Mistral:
Pantera boss: 262,8 kph - 163,3 mph cobra 427: 260,4 kph - 161,8 mph boss 302: 258,4 kph - 160,5 mph IROC: 247,5 kph - 153,8 mph 914: 234,2 kph - 145,5 mph
RSR is not in combination any more but just for info: 254,7 kph - 158,3 mph

interesting. If I remember correctly, the Cobra topped out at 255km/h for me, I can't remember any except the Pantera reaching 260 so I must have used considerably shorter gearing than you

I allways leave some space (revs) for slipstreaming ... just checked, for me pantera have higher top speed because i can brake later = longer Mistral. Anyway I`ll take boss 302 and pray that tires will last the distance ...

My pc crashes to desktop every time that I select "continue" after selecting car and track. Both on and off line.
How about a series that just uses standard tracks that shipped with v3? Fed up with messing about.

Agreed, that's where we going to go before my enforced layoff. I don't share this passion for a new experience each week. I'm too old to learn and be happy to race new track every week - luckily I've raced some of the tracks in GTL. Going to check this out to see if it's like a GTL version. That's an easy decision, drops me out of PnG each time I try - online or offline. Also screwed up computer shutting it down and locking me out. Had to disconnect power supply and go into protected mode to sort out. It had also turned off my Norton Firewall.

Did I miss something or does the DL-link for this track lead to the GTL version?

from nogripracing by DucFreak Game CTD (during game launching or track loading) after successfull installation - possible solution
Go to the "...\[P&G install]\MovieFiles" folder, and delete all the 9 files in there.
Don't worry, it won't delete the main-menu background movie. The reason for the possible CTD (bink32.dll error usually) is because we left blank bink.videos to bypass the original GTR2 "modern" videos and intros, and sometimes it may cause conflicts. Deleting them all as pointed above should solve it.

Watchadoin WT? Dave has created or rather updated the SROUK link, but I left it as the No grip one in case there was any difference and I didn't want to annoy these sensitive gentlemen any more, after they have suffered so much Let's use only the built in tracks? boring boring boring boring... did I say boring? ah ok. Nice to use tracks people are familiar with, but it's good to go somewhere else as well some times IMHO I hardly ever run a track that I have not raced on in one of these excellent series either GTL or GTR2 or PGvX Heck, you get what you pay for guys.
