Mine turn Wink

I'm very happy with the race result Cool

In practice I beat my PB, and finish on pole.

I had a good start to the race, and very quickly managed to build 2 second lead. My problems starts when Asbjeurn came on second place. He was very fast that I just couldn't escape. For some time I thought that my heart will jump of my chest, like an alien Wink
On lap 8 Asby had spin, and my pulse were normal again. After that I have concentrated on making clean laps, and keep mike away from me Wink

I want to thank everyone involved in UKGPL for keeping that wounderfoul Sim alive, and letting me to race with you Smiley

Zandwoort is one of my favorite tracks, and I was waiting for this race.

On practise I was struggling to make a good clean lap, but finally at the end of session I've cleared my head, and finish second on the grid with 1:30.48  Cool

The race started with a bad start witch cost me second place(this Ferrari was very fast Wink ).
At the first few laps i was struggling to find my rhythm. Leaders was running away from me, so I've concentrated on keeping my third place. Steve was pushing me very hard, but he had an engine problems, and now my only thread was Geoff. Luckily He didn't push as hard as He could, so I was able to keep distance between us.
On lap 13 C.Clutch made a mistake and gap between us were just 3 second. Two laps later leader Asbjeurn Tverberg spin on Hugenholtzbocht(just love the name Wink ), and I was second Cool.
Unfortunately half lap later I have a disco, and that was the end of the story  :'(

Bartosz in particular was a bit hard to catch early, without stressing the rubber unduly....Smiley When I first saw Bartosz whilst practicing for Silvy I had to invite him to join UKGPL and ultimately into the team. He's without a doubt a rough diamond, good work there mate.

Thanks mate. Hope to perform better for the team at Monza Smiley

I'm rather disappointed with my result.

I was 2 sec slower from my normal pace. Probably I was to nervous about my first League race in GPL.

Hope to do better at Brands Hatch;)

Cheers

Hi Bartosz

Welcome to UKGPL.  We need to know how fast you are so that we can assign you to the right division.  Do you have a GPL rank?  If not register here and upload your times.  What is your fastest lap at Silverstone in the 65s?  Please read the rules on the main web site and the bits about the Novices Division.  I hope the English is OK for you, I'm sure your English is a lot better than my Polish Grin.

Out right speed is not as important as racing etiquette.  But we need to be sure new drivers are of a minimum standard before joining a league race.  We will be running a practice server for the Silverstone novice race.  Please check IGOR this weekend.  Hopefully somebody from the UKGPL moderating team we be around to see how you are getting on.

Cheers

Phil

My PB at Silverstone is 1:35.64(in Lotus).

I didn't raced on all GPL track, so I don't have GPLrank.

I have question about choosing the chassis. I've found info that:

...The moderator will assign drivers to teams...
Can I go with the Lotus, or do I have to take other car?

Bartosz.

Hi.

My name is Bartosz. I'm from small town Głubczyce in Poland.

I'm new to simracing(this is my first season). In Poland I race in F1'79 league at simracing.pl, but GPL is my favorite sim Wink

Hope to join you guys at Silverstone

Best regards.
