I think if we were to get larger grids, these races would become classic.

Yes, looking forward to this one. One of the few enjoyable modern circuits.
While I'm on I forgot to thank all of you for pointing me in the right direction with setup and driving technique. Hopefully I can put it to good use in Turkey?

Practice is when i join the server. Until then I have no times, no setup and only my knowledge of previous races at Istanbul in completely different cars.

Had a job getting on, intially during practice.
After about two laps in the race people kept disappearing in front of me, and then to make matters worse connection lost with host!!!
I was going to pull out ant way because I didn't know whether technical issues were mine, the sim, or the others. I didn't want ruin anybody elses race.
Issues seem to have started ever since Steam got me to down load a update for the sim before the last race, these issues don't warm one to this sim, despite a complete reinstall.

I do like that track, it is one of the best GP circuits around with so many different corners and overtaking opportunities. Seemed a bit big for the poor little F-BMWs, but I had fun anyway. I led the race when Jeff decided to start at the back and for a few laps I WAS GOD! Unfortunately up stepped the real god who then proceeded to dance a merry little dance round my car and much like a cat playing with a mouse juggling it in the air with it's back feet Jeffrey put me in my place.
Of course like a true team player, Jeffrey on the last lap put on his Eddie Irvine cap, his car developed sudden technical problems 2 inches before the line for me to grasp victory in a move that will provide much debate among the ITV commentary crew for the next few weeks.
It's a real shame more people don't race these cars as they are so much fun. For being so pitifully under powered, they have so much chuck-ability in them it's brilliant. Maybe it's the setup we're using, but the cars are twitchy little oversteering fruit flies on it and it makes it a lot better.
As this is the last time (at least for a while) Jeff will be racing with us I'd just like to say best of luck in your training and new career in Oxford and when you're done, we all expect a free flight to somewhere exotic (and with you as pilot, to get there faster than anyone has got there before!).

Had a great get away and nearly got the hole shot but simon covered the frist corner well...then i half spun at the first corner for the next 5 laps which ruined it for me ...still the cars are great fun though even though they felt abit dwarfed by the track.
Cheers and see you at the next race.

If I could, I would . But even family here in Holland can fly with for free, as it is seen as income and requires tax . Maybe we can all come together for the European Championship, when Holland plays against England....

Well what a mess I made of that race. Same setup as Shark and Ruskus used but in my hands it got to be undriveable. The longer the race went on the less I could get round the medium speed corners. Sat there doing donuts at one stage as I could get the think to stop spinning Good job the grids are small so I still got some reasonable points. Now how do I stop Shark attending the next round and get myself a win Damn Ruskus for letting him passed
