Looks like I'll be reading (and re-reading) the manual then Ah yes the manual, of course mines in german but I'm fairly sure all it says is... "To install put DVD in drive and let autorun do the rest". Kick her off the computer, cold or no cold!!!

Yes its arrived. Wife was going to ban it until Xmas to give to me as a present! :'( Soon put paid to that idea. Like Dave noticed stutters/slow downs particularly at Mondello in the sequence just after the start/finish straight. aajay

Switching down to Dx7 seems to have solved it - I obviously need a new graphics card.
