jeez, this is a horrible track, its like a bland featureless version of Long Beach Just done some laps but wasnt inspired enough to bother for more than 20 minutes. Didnt help that i did my laps after spending some time with GTrEvo at Brands earlier, the difference in feel is night and day and sadly GTR2 is the loser by a long chalk. Its quite amazing when you run one after the other how different they feel. 2:14 q 2:16 R but very early installation laps.

where would i be without my two friendly trolls following me around the boards I would hardly ever call myself a GTR2 hater considering ive owned it and GTR1 since they came out and raced a gazillion events on them both ! Im telling it how i see it, Evo is a step up, no doubt. Im always after the feel, noise and grip i experience on track in my own car at the very least. Im more surprised at you guys who dont think its an improvement Even the blinking touring cars in evo feel better than the GT's in GTR2 and i dont even normally like touring cars !! Besides...have you tried this track yet? Its blander than bland, just like the real track on telly when the F1's on Should have been Paul Ricard this week like the LMS series, what a great track that is Still H@L picked two corkers for rounds 1&2 so forgive him this carbuncle Anyone else set times here yet? or did you fall asleep at the wheel

Bit unfair comparing a free 3rd party track with one produced by professionals. May not look at good but it's all about the racing

I actually did a really good PnG race here a week or two back. I was quite surprised. This is a better track from racing than hotlapping. Im more surprised at you guys who dont think its an improvement I'm loving our GT2's championship, loving the Super GT's & initial impressions of GTR2 F1'88 are very good too. Evo is fine, I'm just happy with GTR2 until I'm forced away from it.

I hope to join in with this one, it's a new track to me (racing around, anyway) and it didn't take me long to learn not to try and gain too much over the kerbs; most of them are pretty brutal! Currently doing some 2:07's with the occasional dip into the 06's, but the setup is a bit too understeery at the moment, and I'm not sure how the tyres would last. I agree it's not the best track in the world for hotlapping, (there's a real lack of, well, anything around most of the track!), but I can see the racing being good. There's definitely some scope for taking different lines through the slower corners to try and get a run down the straights

Best so far is a 2.09.2 but with this track i'm a bit more variable than normal, too easy to lose time

Nice to see you back Zacari I quite like this track. The final hairpin is really challenging with that flick before it and is one of my faves. That said, its not really a BiT track (can't even get outta 5th, so top end speed advatange is gone) but I'll give someone a race. The Panoz will be good around here (no pressure Legzy ).

Too bad, H@l. For the moment I thought for a close finish, then picked a curb and spinned. Pitted and nsfast came by and had some troubles catching - you didn't change the tyres, nsfast? Then saw I was gonna be short on fuel and had to drive more slowly and fist Spanner and then Zacari started to catch up. Finished with 0,4 l of fuel in the tank, now that's a close finish. Great race, apart from my spin and H@l's disco and grats to Jon and sbg for a truly amazing pace. Xou had a nice pace, SRW, I see you're comming up to speed. Some laps and I'll be sniffing your ... tailpipe.

tough track that and one i dont like. Never got near the front end pace for this, i must have something completely wrong setup wise as highest i could manage was a 2:07, 3 secs off pody guys Take it you guys ran really low wing? or could run the kerbs? My race was ruined by the stops as always. Pitted totally correct, took on 20mins fuel and new boots, manual pit, no delays but rejoined about 30+ secs behind the guys i had been close too on track and even behind guys who had been 22 secs behind me lost interest after that, crossed the line with only 2L left in the tank. Presume you did something clever in pits like not take on new tyres? mine were shot so i had too. congrats pody winners

Great back racing GTR2 again! Race was going fine for me in a loneny 3rd, until I pitted and had completely forgotten the refuel procedure! Sat for ages not knowing why nothing was happening until it suddenly dawned on me. Then I couldn't get the car started again! Ended up coming out the pits in 10th, and had a hell of a job getting past a BMW that was miiiiles faster in a straight line but it was great fun. Towards the end as I was slowly catching TT in 3rd, my G15 keyboard reset and made my framerate drop to 1 every 2-3 seconds for (thankfully) the length of the back straight (must have looked weird to someone who was very curteously letting me by, I was probably warping all over the place!), and that lost me another couple of seconds. In the end just ran out of laps! Great job Jon, SBG and TT for the podium
