A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable. Special Notes: None.

I hope to be home in time to race this Monday. I tried the BMW 2002tii midweek, fun to drive but I suspect the slowest of the bunch (except in alien hands of course). However I will practice on Sunday and take it if I can get half decent lap times. If not I guess it will be the Porsche 914-6 GTU.

Alrighty Misnoimis. Hope to see you tonight then. Don't worry about the speed you are getting out of the Bimmer. I had a quick blast to familiarise myself with the track, only to discover now i have been practicing the wrong lay-out... . So i will have my work cut out tonight too. Just let us have a fun race tonight then!

Hi guys! Race day! Yesterday I did a few laps with 911 and for the moment don't made a good/stable setup. My best time 1.35.5 I think. Very caution in the first corner (cut warning!) See you!

My best so far 1:39.5 in the 240Z - but a bit tricky to drive. 1:35.5 ? - Track record is 1:40 from 2012 by Navin R. Johnson in a Cobra There are aliens around

Well as i discovered. There is a chicane and a non-chicane version. I do hope Senyorlobo was on the "wrong" version of the track I ran the Datsun too. Don't remember the exact time, but was on the wrong layout also. I found that stiffening up both compression and rebound made the car much more stable to drive. You could try and play with these settings a bit. If you want i can sent you my setup, but i have no access to my pc right now. So that would be a bit last minute. PM me if you would like to share setups. Cheers.

I've done a 1:36.2 in the 911, on the chicane version, and I'm not even remotely alien, so Jose's time seems entirely plausible - a bit slow actually... Gave up on the Datsun in frustration, as all it seemed to want to do, was swap ends at the slightest provocation. Guess I should try your setup suggestions, to see if they help. Thanks for mentioning it. Cheers, Erling

I'll be taking the Datsun as for me it seemed very controllable at this twisty track

A word of caution to drivers who are new to this circuit. There is a very sensitive cut region at turn one where there is a line seperating the pit lane exit from the main raceway. If you drive too close to this line you will receive a cut warning. Best to give this line some distance.

I wanted to drive the Mazda on this track but never could figure out how to keep the rear behind the front in the twisties and humpty bumps. Then tried the BMW and it was better but still sorta unstable and not as quick. Finally settled on the 911, top time of 177 something in race trim and fuel. Ran a 30 lapper with the AI and times were mostly 139-141's with a couple of 138's. Three spins in thirty laps, gotta control the adrenilan as if I push it too hard it will go around in T1 or chicane. Tony is right about the touchy cut's on T1, if you get too close to the gold kerb it will trigger a cut, don't even have to make contact!!! Should be a good race, hope we get a good field number. See you at the track
