Decided to give the Lotus 43 a try, silly choice it was a big lump around here. I kept blowing engines in praccy because of the bumps. Had to lift a lot so my qually time was slow. In the race, on the tricky right turn up the hill I ran wide and did a 180. I saw David's Eagle heading my way so I tried to get off the racing line ASAP but I got in Paul's way, sorry! Ended up beached on the wall and out. A race to forget. The 66s have been a disaster for me this season.

I took the 2L Ferrari because I didn't expect to finish. Surprisingly I lasted about half distance - without hitting anything major - before the camshaft broke. Laying third at that point. Bad luck Fran you were driving very well. I hope somebody finishes! This time was not bad luck was inattention. Is a shame because, due to the strong elimination,i was in unaspected 2 position in a season terrific for incident and engine explosion.Title: Re: UKGPL Season 36 (2020) 1966 F1 - Preluk - Jun 2 Post by: AnGex on June 02, 2020, 11:00:22 PM +0100 Congratulations to the two arrivals on the podium. :thumbup2:
Although there is still one more race to go I would like to suggest Mr. Grupp for the Gentleman Prize and exemplary sporting fair behaviour. You don't see something like this every day. As a already laped driver with a wounded car in the middle of the straight in round 11 at 23:35, he twitched briefly to the right into his competitor: Fantastic! Title: Re: UKGPL Season 36 (2020) 1966 F1 - Preluk - Jun 2 Post by: bagrupp on June 02, 2020, 11:15:26 PM +0100 well, mistakes can happen and i said sorry.
