And you guys want to stay under the Club UK banner at all costs ?

I'd be happy to have you guys running with us !

Thanks for the invitation...

For me personally, the Club Banner has nothing to do with it.  It's the people racing!  When you race with the same crowd year after year you get to know who you can go door to door with and who you can't.  For me nothing beats a good, clean door to door battle for the duration of the race.  I'm lucky that at club England (now UK&I) there are 8-10 drivers with a similar pace to me, and more importantly I trust them not to try anything stupid.  This normally means that most races are fantastic; I rarely have a poor club race. (that's jinxed it Roll Eyes )

I'm not saying I couldn't experience the same in your league, but I don't want to give up what I currently have to find out.  If you were to race on Sundays I'd be there.

Regarding prizes...  They don't really interest me because I know I stand no chance of winning them, unless you reward clean driving.  angel

I really know what you mean about the community.. it's the most important thing next to the fun of racing that I love in the sim racing hobby.
That's also why I won't jump and try to crash any community that is working..

I want to create another one. Trying to gather all the best European drivers.. but we do'nt mind the slow ones of course !!

That's the purpose of those open races..

Prizes ? yeah.. of course the overal winner will have one.

But we would love to reward clean racing.. and also fidelity, where everyone would have a shot at a nice prize if he made all the races (with a drop week for example)..

Not trying to dismiss your idea but it does raise a general point. Tbh i'm not sure you can both, i've noticed certainly in some of the club england events the mentality between quicker, team centred 'pro' drivers is a bit different from the more, friendly, respectful community based racing. I'm not saying club england is like that and putting it on a pinicle, i certainly havent driven enough races to find that out but you do notice an attitude difference to the racing between those at the front and those of us making up the numbers, shall we say!

Hi Spanner.  Are you talking about the Skippy series?  I would be very surprised if you thought this about the Wednesday night racing.  I must admit the Skippy series has become very competitive recently attracting a few 'win at all cost' drivers.

I commend you for trying and I wish you luck.  But if your aim is to gather the best European drivers, then you don't need me.  Cheesy

I totally agree !

The more I think about it and the more I discuss with people, the more it seems that we (if we succeed) won't have a nice community like here or club England.. (or all the other communities I'm in).

What we will have if we succeed is a competitive environment (word?) where the drivers could have what we don't have with the iRacing service... something like an Official Private League  Wink

In communities, people usually don't complain about racing incidents, and we will have to deal with that. We are aware of that.

That's why I always said I won't screw up with private leagues.. we would make something different.

All the drivers will be welcomed !

We will make a championship for each level (still in discussion) so everybody get a shot at a prize  Wink
