Not sure about the "...the legend continues" being at the top - looks like it ought to be at the bottom, which probably means swapping the POWER and GLORY round, so it's something like this: UKPnG | GLORY | POWER | ... the legend continues |
Could also put UKPnG in the middle and then I can add the "... the legend continues" as text at the bottom right.

Not 100% sure about the font (always been a sans serif man myself ) but as for the design in general, me likey!

Agreed the serif fonts are usually a bit awkward on screen, but I figured something not quite so angular would suit the theme better. Then again my font collection is pretty much limited to the stock Windows ones so not very many interesting choices there. Here's the template in psd format (I hope) if you want to try it out.
