Don't give up Morten, you'll get there with more practice.

Well I was enjoying a CRACKING race with the 2 Legends Racing Guys. BUT then my bloody internet went down and has only just come right. Once again i may not be the fastest but I love racing with you guys, due to it being of such a high standard and CLEAN. I hope GTL continues, and I will do my darndest to make every race.

Yep, it was good fun at the start - would have been interesting as we both settled into the cars ..... assuming Bernie pirroetting Porsche managed to keep clear .

yeah dont give up Mortens, if you need a setup for any track or car, just ask on here and i'm sure people will oblige. But its mainly practise that will get you the pace, as you get familiar with the right racing lines and car feel.
So where did the rest of the guys who have raced the last couple of weeks disapear to? Didnt see any Team oldie boys here this time?..or were they?

I've got some good tracks lined up for the run in to the end of the season, some new challenges, so hope it will encourage more to join in.

ooh, tell me more If anyone who races here can encourage others elsewhere to join in, then all the better. Someone mentioned a German racing GTL league last night, perhaps a few of them could be enticed into a race with their British rivals ? Perhaps a formal invite to compete?

I'm not sure I will! Still you're way faster than me, so don't worry. And thanks for the support, I'll try that; get more practice. It's just that when I watch you race, it seems more like it's in your blood or something. Maybe I just don't have it. But the main reason I'm racing GTL is that I'm trying to widen my horizon, as I've only raced NASCAR on-line before this, and I haven't got the hang or road cars yet. Think I'm okay at rally, but haven't got any good games for that at the moment.

ooh, tell me more If you go to the championship standings for each class and hover over the flags for the races to come it'll show you what I currently (subject to change) have planned.

Nice !...some tasty track/car combos on the horizon. I havent even seen, yet alone raced on some of those tracks, like Troys Rivieres and Tsukuba etc but all adds to the fun Are they all tested? Long beach in the 76's sounds ace So c'mon all you malingerers, get your ass on track ps anyone tried the 'Power and glory' GTL mod for GTR2 yet? Many are raving about it...you get superior physics (apparently) and you get rain !

Just came to think of it, don't even know if it's available for GTL, but how about a race on Suzuka some time? I know that track inside out, as it's been available for almost every sim ever made Or maybe you've allready been there?

I'll have to wait till the full version is released before I can really say anything worthwhile about it tho

Well not a good race for me!!! I hadnt had a great deal of practice because I have been trying to get Win Vista Ultimate 64 bit to play most of my games! It will play most, I have GPL and GTR2 running ok now after much fiddling! But I cannot for the life of me get it to run GTL. I think it needs a no-cd patch but I just cant find one anywhere! If anyone knows please send me a PM Anyway back to the race, I qualified second to last due to my lack of practice and circuit knowledge! But that was ok I was just going to potter around and try to finish! But come the end of lap 1 I had a total PC lock up, had to power off! This was using my XP x64 partition and it has never done that before.... strange. Oh well see you all at the next one! Bully

Hi everyone,
I just registered after reading the 'recruitment' post on nogrip. I bought GT-Legends just a couple of months ago, and I really enjoyed the handfull of online races I did on NoGrip. I'd love to some more online races, so I'd love to join you guys in some of the championship races as time permits.
