Have track and cars loaded on my Season 14 system and can drive them OK but have had problems getting things sorted (see separate Forum under General UKGTL discussion). Not driven GTL for about a month so not really the track or cars to start with again. I've spent too long trying to sort out GTL from scratch and carried on like a dog with a bone for too long – need a complete break from GTL to clear my mind. Will check in tonight to see all works OK but won't race but have early night. Planning to be back racing again at Pembrey, shorter track to relearn and simpler cars to drive - probably drive the Anglia again. Had so many attempts to register GTL On Line that I finally am registered as Will Thomas - Will short for William hence simply Bill previously, tried so many Bill Thomas variations I eventually went to Will Thomas for change. Great to hear that things are finally working out Bill (or Will..) Understand your reservations about making a comeback with this track/car combo - to call it challenging would be a bit of an understatement... (My local copy of The Ring is strewn with Ferrari 512 wrecks, after my failed efforts to master it at this track..) Cheers, Erling

Have an XD question guys.
I've noticed that when one of my front tyres are approaching 100º C, they start to turn yellow / orange in the XD display. If they go over 100º C, display turns them deep crimson.
My rear tyres on the other hand, can be over 115º C and still be coloured bright green. Are rear tyres 'allowed' higher temperatures, or is there something fishy with XD's display ?
Cheers, Erling

I suspect that we can keep Bill Thomas in the race results Bill. But it would be useful if you could be online tonight for qualy, even if you don't drive. This will give me the opportunity to tell the system that Will Thomas is Bill Thomas. I can't do that unless you are physicaly "there". And tonight would be good as I won't be around for the next two races.

I believe that XD is only reporting what it finds inside the physics workings of GTL and the particular car. So XD's display is always "right". It's probably to do with parameters set by the mods creator. It will of course also be related to tyre loads and air pressure.

I managed a lap and a half last night after giving up on GTR2 GTCs I only tried the Alfa and the track seemed very narrow compared to other visits here I like MJs idea of drive something easy, but I don't find those 908s easy either. I might try a neutered Matra if my ears can stand the screaming, the car's and mine

Yes that is what I tried to imply, I want to see all is well and I thought it made sense to be there for qualifying and the start to "tick all the boxes" and then race after the start line is cleared until I meet a sticky end.

I cannot connect to our server! I will keep trying but if it's not back by 20:00 GMT we will have to cancel EDIT: It appears that our server provider suffered a power outage this afternoon. Although their services are slowly being bought back I don't hold out much hope for tonight's race unfortunately

Looks like the server has fallen over as I can't see our PnG event either. Is there a button someone needs to press somewhere? Welcome back Bill, or is it Will

Can see a (the?) server now, but can't join.
Have tried both race and normal practice passwords.
