Holy cow. I didn't read the rules and went with 100L and didn't stop I was controlling Truetom and Shark thinking they went with 50L for 1 stop and was saving the tyres. It seems the first race backfired. Well, next race I can keep a faster pace then Filipe Galego apologies to all for any trouble he may have caused as he had to race with only 18FPS during around 1 hour Only the first 20 minutes his frames were good. He asked Gomes and me on Team Speak if all was good when we passed him and we said no lag was noticed, so he kept racing even with the low frames

Had fun at the start, people falling off everywhere and even managed to use a back marker to get past SBG, having a great three way battle with him and Rich_A, then going into last turn gears went down twice and span off. Then my lack of concentration began to kick in. Need more endurance practice definately for the quieter moments, which you don't normally get in a Nascar.
Still settle for some early pace and every lap will improve me hopefully.

A very enjoyable race. Had a 1 hour battle with Truetom. Was leading in class for the first half but TT was always very close behind. Second half after pitstop, some time into that stint pushed too hard on the final turn and went across the gravel, held it together to get back on circuit, but this let TT through. Then I had to push really hard to pressurise TT and with about 15? minutes to go I was literally inches from TT's rear bumper for a while. Then out of one of the slower right handers TT skidded wide on the damned marbles which were really getting troublesome (as always at Barcelona) and into the gravel and LMAO I followed him straight in. Had a good giggle at that sympathy spin, we were so close together when it happened it was unreal. I seem to come off a lot worse though as i did a 360 and had lost 8 seconds to TT. Then tried to catch up with minutes left but couldn't quite get there with I'm guessing TT slowing a bit at the end to make sure of his win.
Luis actually finished on the road ahead of both of us, but didn't realise he had to make a stop so will be penalised for it. Sorry mate. You drive a great race too. Think you were about 6 seconds behind my battle with TT at the pitstops.
Well done to Zacari on the GT win, pretty good points for Team Shark.

Didn't plan on racing tonight but glad I did . Congrats to Zac and TT (tough break Louis). Unlucky Nick, and I was wondering how on earth you spun there. Great fun while it lasted and my pass on you around an NGT was better . Nice stuff with Rich and Zac as well, very fair chaps. Thanks to NGT boys who were most respectful. Might do that again

Phew that was tough going as usual, first time i have raced endurance in summer temperatures so was completely soaked in sweat by the end...sweating booze from the weekend probably! Was away at a wedding all weekend so had no chance at all for any practise. Had to drive home at 'race' speeds in the Porker just to get back in time, fearing i would miss the race start. Missed practise but joined during the qually sesh luckily. Was buzzing so much from my adrenalin drive home that it made it easier to jump straight in 'cold' Was never going to trouble the few NGT with no practise but was reasonably pleased to start the race where i did (6thNGT?). Race started well with a 3 way battle with B.Lomax and Pops just ahead of me for a fair few laps until Pops disapeared into the gravel at turn 1. Then had long battle with Bernie for about half an hour or so, swapping places once or twice until he made a couple of errors and dropped back before he finally retired. I then had a 30 second gap after pit stop to next guy in front and a 1 minute plus gap to the car behind so just carried on a bit bored with a less than perfect race setup and brought it home 3rd or 4th NGT ?..depending on the stewards enquiry for Luis Apologies to Maverick who i think was retiring anyway?..the back end of my car whipped around off the kerbs, near the pit entrance and i sideswiped his slow moving GT car, sorry mate, i was just a passenger at that point.

It was gonna take something like that to shake it up, I could not attack you, but Rich could not get past me as my brakes seemed a lot better ( at that point anyway!)

Duel with Shark. Was a tiny bit faster with fresh tyres, but couldn't get into slipstream - his Mosler just pulled away. 40 minutes, more or less glued. Then tyres started to go-go and I was losing quater/second per lap. Had a half spin just before pitstop but managed to join just after Shark again (what were you doing in the pits for so long?). Duel again for 20 minutes. I knew I had to pass as soon as possible or it'll be the same as before pitstop - his tyres held better than mine. Shark made it easy for me as he made a mistake in the last corner and I was able to pass. He started to chase me then. I felt I could pull away but then started to conserve tyres. So I went through corners very slow, blocking the way and pulled fast outta corner. It worked for some time then he made the same move. I blocked and in braking we both lost control. I don't know if we made contact or just lost it under braking. I managed to continue while he spinned. This made a gap of 8 seconds about 15 minutes to the end which I let slowly vanish and came to end of race. Sweaty all over, gasping for air, then a Sharky torpedo hit me into space! In the pits I saw Louis was before us?!?!? As I could understand Louis didn't know he had to pit. I expect moderator will solve this situation, right? I worked my a$$ of for this NGT win! Great driving Shark, as usual. I guess that was your only mistake worth mentioning, right? I don't think I could pass you cleanly and then keep position if it wasn't for that. Great level of driving, I think the highest so far. All GTs sensed and respected close driving between Shark and me. Same with NGTs which we passed. Sorry Louis, next time ya gotta read some. Even so, great driving Louis. I know how risky it is to drive for 80 minutes w/o stop. (right Mark&Shark? ) Grats Zacari on the GT win.
