Next Elise Only Race

Was great fun all, right down to lap 4 when 1fps killed me off, that was the 3rd time in the session which was enough for me! Had similar probs in wosec till vb went back to DX server, aint heard anyone say 1fps since.
I'm off to Assen TT circuit next week for Motogp so not sure if the wife will be happy if I race next Monday, cross fingers....lol. Fozz, gotta talk to u about counterstrike sometime, I luv the game and would really like to get into a clan, lemme know if its possible.

For all those that took part in last night's racing Thank You  I had an absolute blast. It has however highlighted that I'm still way off the pace even in the Elise, time to go practise some more methinks........................Now whats a vertigo?

Ok, i had a quick look at the first race formation lap and quite frankly it's appauling!! This sort of scene is unacceptable for the formation lap...



The formation lap should not be this difficult! Just follow these rules:
1) Single File!
2) No extreme weaving and braking!
3) Keep up with the guy in front and don't leave massive gaps. If you worried about hitting the car in front stay slightly to one side (this is a good idea during the race too actually).
4) The desired speed on the straights should be around 75mph (for those in kph that's 120kph)
5) All UKGTR races will run with a formation lap so please don't confuse everybody by asking "is there a formation lap?" 5 seconds before the lights go out, cause the answer is "YES!"

If you haven't read the UKGTR rules you are required to make yourself familiar with them...

Sorry you can't make it Paul968, the day was decided on by this post. I only picked Monday for the first race because it said so at https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=202.0 but it'll probably stick now.

Real life sucks when it stops you playing gtr :-)
