Or, you could get the second AC DLC pack which has 2 different RUF GT cars. Close enough for me, at least!

Same here, no sign of it.  Huh

Room for another (not so new) driver? Smiley

I haven't run GTL since I swapped to windows 10, hopefully it'll work without issues. I've got tomorrow night to sort them out, at least!
5  Race Room Experience / RRE Races / Re: RRE Season 2 Race Room Historics - Bathurst - Oct 1 on: September 26, 2015, 09:25:09 AM +0100
I'll be joining you, assuming there's space at the back of the grid! Grin I'll probably be driving the Audi.

Is there a list anywhere of what the rest of the season will contain? Makes it easier (and cheaper) to get the rest of the tracks in one go if you're new to the sim.

I think AV software on games machines is not worth the effort. Just my opinion of course.  whistling

When I installed Bitdefender earlier in the year it removed over 40 viruses from my system. That's having had AVG running for 4 years previously. I dread to think what state my PC would have been in without it...

As long as you calibrate the software properly, for example removing your games folders from the scanners and firewalls, it's not been a problem in my experience. But then again, I use this PC for EVERYTHING, and I can't risk NOT having a firewall just for the sake of a few games with dodgy netcode. So ymmv, of course.

The game itself does a better job than this ridiculous app.

At detection, yes. At the actual penalty? I don't think slowing a GT car down to 50kmh ON TRACK is a suitable penalty, and I doubt I'm the only person thinking that.

New PLP-app.

version 1.3: Uses tyre dirt level as well to make the detection of off-track wheels more accurate.

I would STRONGLY suggest that everyone gets the new version of PLP installed before booking for the race. Smiley

As far as I know the current version is 0.9.1, which could be why it's not showing up.

I don't know if that's the version H@L wants for the race though.
10  UKAC / UKAC Races / Re: UKAC Season 1 GT3 - Zeltweg - Aug 5 on: August 04, 2015, 03:05:36 PM +0100
There's been A LOT of changes to this track since we last used it, so you'll need to redownload it. Mitja's work is pretty awesome, and since this is another of his local tracks I get the feeling it's going to be VERY accurate.

I do wish it wasn't still being referred to by its completely inaccurate old name of Zeltweg in the title, though. It's in Spielberg, and it always has been.  Undecided
11  UKAC / UKAC Races / Re: UKAC Season 1 GT2 - Donington Park - Aug 2 on: August 02, 2015, 07:32:05 PM +0100
If anyone else is running Windows 10 here, I've just had an issue where the game crashes when loading the car + track. I've seemingly fixed it by setting the .exe file to run as administrator and by changing the in game resolution back to what it should be (it changed itself to 640xsomethingorother). There's a bit of discussion going on about it on the AC forums at the moment, so it's not just me.
12  UKAC / UKAC Races / Re: UKAC Season 1 GT2 - Donington Park - Aug 2 on: August 01, 2015, 02:10:58 PM +0100
I might be joining you guys for this one. I'll be in the 458 if so. Wouldn't have thought the GT3s GT2s would suit Doni but I'll give it shot.

I still can't stand what they've done to the track. No bridges, the craner curves are wrong...it was bad enough when they added the hairpin for the GP layout, this is just silly...  no (half joking, by the way.)

14  UKAC / UKAC Races / Re: UKAC Season 1 GT2 - Imola - Jul 19 on: July 21, 2015, 06:51:57 AM +0100
Tibs, it was a joke.
I couldn't give a flambeed cod what race is on. I bought AC back in Jan when it was on sale, I've just not had the time/drive to install it yet. But I do keep checking these threads, hoping to see its popularity take off thumbup2

I had hoped that giving a little poke might encourage people to turn up & make the most of the prime Sunday slot... If I'd know it would lead to toys being thrown out the pram I wouldn't have stuck my unwelcome oar in.

I know I didn't pick up on the sarcasm (my bad, and I apologise for it), so there's a good chance someone else wouldn't - and without it it doesn't exactly come across well, or at least it didn't to me. The downside of text rather than speech.  Undecided
15  UKAC / UKAC Races / Re: UKAC Season 1 GT2 - Imola - Jul 19 on: July 20, 2015, 10:05:42 PM +0100
Cool, with the amount of enjoyment/support for AC I'm reading in this thread, GTR2 will be back to weekly races before I know it thumbup1 Evil

Oh for crying out loud...

This is why I'm posting the next BMW race up, and that's it. This entire league has turned into a load of childish mudslinging about someone's favourite sim not being raced all the time. Count me out.

EDIT: misread it, sorry.  Sad
