Well done Joss on the championship, another dominate display to snatch the championship back from Gazza at the last round and also help secure a victory for Team Shark in the GT1 team championship.
Also congratulations to Team Oldie and Legzy on the GT2 championships who prove that when you're retired you have more spare time to practice.
I had a pretty uneventful race, plodding around in the Lister (cor that car is so easy to drive, it was like a Sunday afternoon cruise), coming home 2nd to help secure the team championship.
Thanks again to all the organisers, you know who you are and a special mention to Pete for the pain he endures with the demands of liasing with the server providers.
Women!!!
At the pitstops my otherhalf announced that the cat had escaped so I continued for a short time before calling it quits to help the search. Where was he.......Under the bed
Was enjoying a steady run before that. Would never have won but 2nd was there to be taken. Will report back with due grats later
Unlucky there Jon, otherwise it could have been a Team Shark 1-2-3 lock-out in GT1!
Can I make a quick suggestion that those who are yet to pit, leave those who have through when its possible. There were a couple of times when spanner and I were held up tonight when I thought it was totally avoidable.
Have to disagree with this. If it's racing for position then those drivers have the right to fight for it. There is no telling what the weather will do or anything, so they may not actually be a pit stop behind. Endurance is partly about tactics and doing long stints and playing the weather game is one of those tactics. The crux of the matter is though that if you are battling for position, then you are battling for position, no matter if you are a pit stop out at the current time, there is absolutely no reason to move over because you are not being lapped. Holding the opposition up on worn tyres may be vital further into the race, so it's all fair and important stuff.
