At which location? Valencia I assume.... Personally I would prefer the weather to be set now so that I have some time to find a semi competitive setup.

Why not practcie offline in the rain and make a setup for that. Never hurts to preactice in the wet, eventhough it won't be necessary.

Why? In real life we cant do that . I know, i know....this is a game I agree in real life we can't dictate the weather, unfortunately. However, as you say this is a game. The ballast pack was introduced with the aim of producing closer racing. However, the idea of leaving the weather to chance will only do the opposite. The more experienced drivers will be able to easily adapt to any condition while us newbies who are still trying to learn the cars/setups and tracks will struggle. Unfortunately there is only so much time I can devote to GTR2. If I have to practice multiple scenarios instead of just one it’s obvious I'm going to be less competitive. This is just my view and I'm not asking for special treatment. I'll race in any weather condition. Just spare a thought for the newbie once in a while. Let face it, you were all one once. (aliens excluded)

(aliens excluded) Well...if we go through that way.....some day we have races with 8 wide drivers And yes, i remember when i was a newbie. First race i did with UKGTL guys, they gave me 3 !!! laps with the tc-65 cars at Nurburgring with the Alfas and Cortinas only Since then, they only give me 1 lap down, so im driving better now

We didn't have that many races in the wet so all drivers will face not usual conditions. TT

Daz, I think you are missing the point. Endurance racing is an art which needs to be mastered, and preparation is a key part of that. If you can gain an advantage by being better prepared then good for you, if not then you will have to accept that your chances are more limited. Why should an experienced driver give up a key advantage over you? They have presumably worked hard to gain that experience and so they deserve to reap the benefit don't they? When you are one of the experienced ones, won't you want to be up the front as a result?

Paul, you have made several valid points. But at no time have I asked for anything to be changed. I just stated a preference. There is a difference. I also hope that when I become more experienced in this game I won't become so obsessed about winning that I forget the main reason we are all here; to have fun!!! Please be aware there are some of us that haven't played GTR or GT Legends before GTR2. It's a steep learning curve. Maybe the solution would be to use real life weather for the masters and set the weather for the academy league...
