imagine you crash in the turn before Mulsanne....there is a long way back to the pit on 3 wheels  Shocked
Who knows the pit speed limit  Huh km/h or mph ?
Still have big problems with tire temp at 917, but the best with qual setup on soft: 3:19.279  Undecided

Guys - pay attention if you have to leave the track.

You'll get warnings very easily and - I think - after three warnings a stop and go penalty!

Don't think I've ever had a cut warning here?

My experience too. Stay allert and keep 2 wheels within the trackline at all times.

Wow - nice ! Alex, me, Sandor and the legendary GT all in the T33

What laptimes are you guys getting  ?

I did some more practice nd got me a 3.30.036 on medium fuel.

Actually I worry more about how to stay on the tarmac for 42 ( FORTY TWO )   laps ....................  scared

The 908-3 in my hands is by far the slowest one - pb up to now is 3.38.9 (which is exactly the quali-time of 3rd place 908-2 in 1970's race  Wink - the 908-3 didn't arrive at LeMans before 1972, when they drove a slightly longer/slower version of the track) with full tank and I don't think there will be much space to lower laptimes for me (so over 8 seconds difference within the same class  Sad ), but race lasts over 2 1/2 hours...

I must be driving one of those russian things cause my best lap yet is a 3.41 (full tank) , so that is a gap of 11 secs.
And I am using the set-up you sent to Alex , so that is not the problem   Embarrassed
I think it is just my level of driving or am I missing a 7th gear or something ? Grin

Great film (if you like cars  laugh) I might just dig out my dvd to watch this afternoon.

Only done a few laps to choose my car and sort a rough race setup. Best time so far 3:30.xxx but I can probably push that with better braking.

I've changed my Alfa sounds to use those of the 312P. Sacrilige I know, but I reckon 42 laps in the Alfa will do my ears in otherwise. More importantly I've got some smoked salmon and a nice bottle of Chardonnay in the fridge to keep me fuelled up for the night  Grin

You are soooo decadent GT Cheesy

Carefull on the liquid intake though, what goes in needs to come out and it's a long race.

shame i missed the test race last night. Looking forward to the slip-streaming for miles and miles  Smiley

wished i never broke down in 2008 in the Group C's Sad only had 5 laps before the race but remember my mechanic telling me the car was topping out at 222 mph for about 10 secs before the chicanes. At least with downforce the car felt planted but these must have had lots of lift... bloody terrifying. Anyways, preparing the Le Mans dvd for some background noise for the race!  Grin
