I also had the blue flags in the first 10 or so minutes at the old hairpin. No idea what that was about, was quite irritating. There was a bit of warp going on at the start, not a lot, but a little.
I almost forgot about that - I had the guy in the pits calling the blue flag on me from the start to about six laps in! Now while I may be used to that particular call , I deffo think something was going a slight bit astray there...... Any idea guys? Did it happen anyone else?

How the hell can I hold you up when we are fighting for position ? I was in front of you, and it is not my fault if you can not get past me ! ? just think of Alonso and Schumacher at Imola, did they moan after the race ? NO....they enjoyed it and I did so too !
I never drove ZigZag ! I defended the line ! even though it doesen`T matter , cause you blew the engine anyway !
Dude, don't blow it up. All I said is that you held me up, but I was unable to overtake you. I had to avoid a crash at some point because you braked much earlier than me. That cost me lot's of time on the guys infront. I'm not saying you held me up by unacceptable driving, not at all. It was just that I was quicker at some corners, but the lack of power in the 360 made it impossible for me to overtake you. Nor did I try a kamikaze move on you. I just stayed behind you hoping for a mistake. So instead of twisting my words, why not PM me to ask me what I meant. sorry Jeff, so I just lost it in translation ! I enjoyed the racing with you today ! hard and clean IMO ! looking forward to the next one !

You might want to consider more carefully what you write too as I've just had to go and edit the first few of these posts because they could be so very easily misinterpreted.

That was my race report. I did not point any fingers. If people felt like I was talking to them, then they probably don't have a clean sheet.

"I got held up really badly by NAMED DRIVER" is almost bound to be taken as an ad hominem attack. "I just couldn't find a way past NAMED DRIVER" would've been far less open to misinterpretation. The fact that NAMED DRIVER did take offence would rather suggest that it was taken to be an accusation and not a statement of fact, wouldn't you say. That and the "oh carp, WW3's about to kick off" thread in the mods area!

Yup, it was a bad word choice. But why does being held up have a negative sound to it. I can be held up, but why would that suggest that I disgree by that happening. Because of an incident at the beginning of the race, I was down the field. I was catching up with the guys infront. Untill I reached (...). He drove a good defensive line, so my times dropped. In other words, I was being held up to procede on my dash to the top 5. Absolutely no negative thought behind it. Just a (bad) way to describe a fact.

...some Einstein showing his drivingskills.
Don't think it was me this time!! Don't worry Adam. Althought it was close . You were in the Coppice corner and I was about to overtake you. But therer was a bump in the road there, so I passed you a bit closer than I wanted . That put a smile on my face, because after that I was like: How is it possible

Intersting race to say the least, well from the cars performance point of view. Picked up some aero damage on the formation lap which affected the car for the whole race, made it a right pig at times. Relieved to finish 5th in the end, could have been a bit better with an undamaged car but there we go.

Greg. Sorry mate. I think it was me that cought your rear end just after last corner on start finish straight. Everyone appeared to be going for it then all slowed. Tried desperately to avoid you. Do appologise! Just as a suggestion all. Might we want to back the pack up before the last corner? ? Just to avoid any start probs. Disscuss...........

Have to say from my position in 6th Emmo drove the start finish straight very consistently, we were all nicely spaced and steady pace. I've looked at the replay and it's actually quite difficult to tell what went wrong from 8th downwards. I know there was a bit of lag/warp at the start which may have contributed to cars suddenly getting closer than they first appeared.
I'm sure Mo will have fun moderating this one and will review the formation lap and final few turns to see what can be learned.

Well tonight was a bit of a disaster for me so we won't go there I too suffered from the spurious blue flag warnings but I had these at Brno so was almost ready for them. The timing to the car infront was also all over the shop, jumping by 6 plus seconds around some parts of the lap. I've seen strange timing issues like this on 3rd party tracks, Le Mans springs to mind, perhaps I've just not noticed it on the official circuits.
