Good man - also just occurred to me that this week in the official iR series it's Skippys @ Oulton.
Having run a few laps with Jimbo I can confirm it's bloomin' amazing. Unfinished business there too Jim, never did get close to your time ya know! :'(
I concur, if I ever said anything bad about the Skippy and the NTM, I take it all back!!  |

Makes it a no brainer at less than £3/month
If you do the official races and collect your $10 bonus each season it's $9 for the whole year! (other than content of course)That would be far too onerous on my free time. I'm currently making an effort to follow one of the Club England Championships, but that takes enough doing for me. A couple of preparity practice runs and one race night is about all I can fit in. |

i must be mad, but i've renewed it once again for a year.  I hope it surprises me and delivers. Cant fault their tracks, they are superbly detailed, but the cars to race on them have so far left me uninspired. I feel much the same Mark. The tracks are superb, Oulton was well worth the 2+ years wait! |

Wow, i remember it used to be a class A and for the pros!
Looking forward to it, should give it a wider audience and hopefully the fixed setups will make it easier to pick up.

I was on a practice server last night where Paul T was showing us all how it's done. I was 1.5 secs shy, so I wont be going in to the race with much confidence tonight. If you are about Paul do you have any gems of advice to give? Are you running the same setup as last week? I have just plagerised it for my own use, but it's maybe just talent I'm missing?!!

This is what I don't understand about iRacing & part of my frustration. It's supposed to be the most realistic racing SIM about, they then go & change a car from chalk to cheese. Is it still the most realistic  Yep, my thoughts exactly. Although I've long since accepted you'll never replicate real life sitting stationary in front of a flat screen!! Well at least the Star Mazda is still very good.  Thankfully so, but is it destined for the curse of the NTM in the future?!! |

Lazlow and I did a race at Oulton in the mx5s - great fun! The car moves around a lot and is quite tricky in places (especially the left kink before the hairpin) but once you get the hang of it you can play with the balance all the way through the corner. Get it too far sideways though and you are toast!
I just feel like I'm tippie toeing around in those things. You just can't be aggressive at all. |

Got all updates done and purchased Oulton. Could only find ppl hosting Mazda sessions, or other such silly saloon cars. Did a few laps in those before doing a bit of solo practice in the HPD. Just bought that car so it was a new experience. Pretty impressive and it allowed me to really enjoy the track. Awesome running full track with no chicanes, just how it used to be |

Where you can use them it says you will be able to download the un-owned car for graphical purposes only. Just wondering how this will work? Will it happen automatically as the track loads, or will we have an option in the car showroom for graphics only versions?

At last the multiclass has been opened up. They must feel they've fleeced us enough, although personally I always resisted buying a car just to join a MC race.
