I believe increasing the value for ''speed sensitive steering" in the GTR2 in game controller options can help a bit with the LMP2 cars. I have it set to zero my self. Its unrealistic. Here is a reminder of some of the tips for using LMP2s that I mentioned in the thread for UE Round 1: - Very precise and minimal steering input (turn the wheel as little as possible especially at high speed). - Using paddle shift will help a lot. - Try all 3 of the cars in case you find one of them suits you more. Here is a link to my Lola setups from last season: http://www.gamefront.com/files/21525867/LolaLMP2Setups_rar

Having read the rolling start regs yet again, I'm sure they are saying that the start should be single file but in all the starts that I have seen everybody reverts to the original formation.
Any guidance?
The formation lap is in single file and when the car in front engages its limiter:- "Each following driver shall close up directly behind the driver in front and also engage their limiter."

Down to 1.51-1.52 now consistently Chears hal. Tweeked the rear wing up to 3 and break bias to 54-46 for the Hockenheim setup and works a treat :-) I really need to learn how to set up the cars lol.

I don't think I will be racing tonight guys. It wont let me on the server when someone else is in. It just says "booted as possible cheat" I have tried 5 different installs including a new one that was standard.
@TT.
Did you change the LOCAL_IP_LOBBY.TXT file back to normal??

Try again once the server has been restarted. it 'may' help.

Nice race. I was having fun in the first half of the race while chasing TT. I could see that I was no match for Matteo and so decided to take my time looking for a good pass on TT. There was a couple of braking point that I was thinking about having a go at passing on when TT made a mistake and I was past. It looked like you had a few close calls at that corner TT. TT then crashed out of the race I believe soon after. Unlucky TT. That was a shame. I tried not to let the gap between me and Matteo get any bigger but, it did. 50 seconds by the end of the race. Very fast. Well done Matteo, well deserved. Well done Clive for 3rd place as well. Thanks for racing all, I had fun. See you at the next one.

Thanks H@L and apologies to someone for the start. I almost managed a rolling start but I shall have to take a look at my replay to see what happened. I hit the Limiter button but went nowhere and the poor bloke behind shovelled me off the track. I think that I must have been in 1st instead of 2nd.
After that I had some fun chasing and fighting with SRW and then trying to close on the two cars in front. Nsfast and APEX’.
I had put a full tank in to start and a 40 ltr top up for the stop. I had intended doing my stop on lap 24 but wasn’t sure that the 40 ltr would get me to the end. I had several iffy laps as I tried to do some mental arithmetic.
I came out of the pits just behind APEX’ so I must have gained some in the pit stops. I kept my Medium slicks on to the end.
Great race with APEX’ and then tried to keep it on the grey bit to the end.
Commiserations to Spanner, who I think that I saw, stuck on the start/finish line.
Grats to Manteos and H@L
