Well, looks like a few of our European simracing friends have GTL in their stickies. The UK release date is confusing the heck out of me... Play, Sendit (changed this week from 6 October), Amazon and Tesco all have 4 November as the release date. Game ( www.game.net) has 5 October. Atari UK is stickng by 7 October and the official GT Legends site says 6 October. Guess we'll find out in the next few days  Pops. |

Seems from reading those posts, that it's out in Scandinavia. Living in Finland I'am tempted every so slightly to steam down the shops and grab a copy! Might wait till you guys get some reviews in first though.
Should be a cracking game.

Living in Finland I'am tempted every so slightly to steam down the shops and grab a copy! Can't believe you can resist! If it doesn't get released here on Friday, I'm ordering from Sweden. Staggered relase dates - stupid, stupid, stupid  Pops. |

Apparently it is confirmed that the 16 player limit online is adjustable in the .plr file just like all the other ISI games. Also the lobby looks better than the last one, here's the new lobby (in german) which I think looks like like a marked improvement over GTR.  |

I got my GTR from Amazon.de, really painless experience even though I know sod all German. Use 1-click and login with your English credentials.
Not that I'm going to bother, GTR's release was 6 months later in the UK than Germany rather than the 1 for GTL plus I'm going to wait to see if it works and SIMBIN or whoever support it. Unlike others around here I rarely play off-line, so the online side is more important to me.

Bugger bugger bugger. Looks like 4th Nov is official. Probably going to have to get the swedish or holland version i reckon. Don't want german again as for some reason this time round it's the only country with a non english manual etc. All versions of the game are multilingual though so dont matter where you get it from.
Amazon.de was fine for me too when i bought GTR took about 5 days I think.
