In a capatilist society, the only say you have, is whether to buy or not.
Yeh 25 aint gonna break the bank, but SimBin don't get my vote at present.

You're confusing capitalism with anarcho-syndicalism.

So young and yet so cynical. Roll Eyes :'(

You puzzle me Foz, if you hate simbin so much why did you sign up for season 2 ?  I thought you would be sticking to your beloved rf from now on ?
Now dont get me wrong, I would hate to see people leave the league but to constantly slag the game off and still signup for new seasons, well its a bit odd.

On the bad news front.
Unfortunately i've been unable to increase the max driver limit of the server so looks like they've hard coded the limit into the code.

At least they never claimed more than 16.  Embarrassed

It's quite logical, I bought it already, no more (measurable) money flows to SimBin for me to continue to play the game, also GTR is the only racing game that has a good following except GPL which I don't have the skill for.

I really hope rF takes off, it has everything I need, and ISI look like they are properly supporting it (although unproven so far). I don't know if ISI is one of them yet, but some companies do look after thier customers and behave in a respectable way, they are just harder to find. Once I find them, they keep getting my money.

This is fixed in the upcoming patch. We intended more than 16 to be possible in the dedicated server, but (whisper it) messed it up.

Sorry Andy, have done some digging and I think you've been rumbled. "No I don't work for Simbin" is technically correct I believe as you now work for a new company name, but as far as I can make out Andy G is in fact........

Andy Garton, ex-SBDT AB Technical Director and now Technical Director of Blimey! Games (the new company for GTL etc).

If I'm right then a warm welcome to you Andy. Hope you join us for some races online at least (are you any good?) and GTL is a big thumbs up from me, love it!

Aha! Nothing gets past the SimRacing Admins!

That's really good news about raising the 16 player limit, if there's some testing to be done, I'm sure we'll happily volunteer  Grin

Thanks, I might well do that. I raced a season of UKGPL a few years back, so may well have raced against a few of you chaps already Smiley

Pretty regular fun races organised Andy for GTR and, if I say so myself, this is the best darn league out there for Gentlemanly conduct. Do yourself a favour and join in  Wink
