Is it like GTR, with different classes, or is there just a "free for all" amongst the different cars?

I think essentially there are 3 different classes so our championships will probably be based like them. Unlike GTR (where the cars are reasonably similar) the cars in GTL are quite different even in class, some will trounce you down the straights and others will brake very well and / or corner very well. Which makes it quite an interesting car selection indeed and may make the races very interesting.

I'll check when I get home but I think the class distinctions could be split like this...

GTC-65
GTC-TC-76
TC-65

Unlike GTR where the cars are quite different even in class

I presume that should read, "Unlike GTR, the cars are quite different even in class"?

No, i've corrected it so it reads with clarification so you don't get confused.

Reading the FIA Historic site it looks like there's a complex structure of classes within each championship (which is what the GTC and TC things are about). I guess I will wait until I get the game next month to look properly at how to break it up.
