Please do not register for full time spots unless you intend to turn up to at least 5 of the 8 rounds. Otherwise you will seriously harm your chances of getting full time spots in future. Obviously if your circumstances change once the season has started and you can no longer make races, if you let me know (by posting here or PMing me) I will take you off the full time list(s) and it will not count against you in future seasons.

The Season 6 format of Sprint is very similar to Season 5, except that the GT2 sprint is now an explicitly double-barrelled championship, with registrations for GT2 and GTC done separately in order to control numbers. GTC cars will remain eligible for points in the GT2 championship.

Car classes will be as Season 5 except that the 360 Modena and 996 RS will move from GT2 into GTC.

Upper Endurance becomes the more hardcore Endurance class. GT1 cars remain as before, but the slower class will be restricted to GTC cars only; no GT2 cars will score championship points.

Lower Endurance is for slower cars - not necessarily slower drivers! GT2 cars will form the fastest class, GTC cars the middle ground, and GT3 cars a third class.

You cannot do both GTC and GT2 in Lower Sprint unless you plan to drive on two computers simulatenously. Please pick a single class.

Backo, Filipe Marques - you cannot do three Endurance categories - we only have two championships. Please pick two.

João Abreu - you've registered for absolutely everything. There are only four championships. Please pick.

Lower Endurance is still being processed - it may be that some people will be asked to change from or to various classes to help even out the numbers.

Driver lists are now out for everything, but there will still be some shuffling as people change their minds out choices.

I've slotted both Filipe Marques and João Abreu in the GT3 class of Lower Endurance, and moved pribeiro and myself up from Lower to Upper in GTC. That makes 7 of us in the class, which is enough for a proper championship. If anyone else wants to join us, please change your vote and let me know.

The driver lists have been update and numbers are now as follows:

• Upper Endurance - 13 GT1 and 13 GTC - 2 spots free (and Shark to confirm his choice of class, likewise Filipe Marques and João Abreu)
• Lower Endurance - 7 GT3, 6 GTC, 12 GT2 - 5 spots free (again, some drivers to confirm choices)
• Upper Sprint - 20 GT1 - 8 spots free
• Lower Sprint - 12 GTC, 16 GT2 - full

Upper Endurance is a priority because of the proximity of the race.

I've taken Gomes Silva's GT2 Sprint slot and given it to Will16v, as Gomes had four full time spots and Will only had one.

I've also given Zacari's GTC Sprint slot to Ruskus, for similar reasons; I think JR will not be around for the first race so I suggest that one of Reign Man or Pseudo bagsies that slot for the first race.

That leaves Shark as the only person with four full time slots, and he's still pondering exactly that to do and where.

Gah, that spot now goes to Purdie as Will can't make the Tuesday races.

Please change my Lower Endurance entry from GT2 to GTC.....I would have selected GTC in this if the option was available to me, but only GT2 and GT3 were showing on the poll.

How late am I. Lower endurance GT2 please, and er, well, whatever I can be reserve in. The rest I guess.

You've both got Upper Endurance GTC and Lower GT3 (with me :) ) - one of you is in GT1 'Upper' Sprint too but there will almost certainly be reserve spaces there (I may even join myself if more backmarkers are needed :laugh: ).

My work scheduling has changed for the worst.

I requested for 4pm-midnight shifts only so I could race, I am no longer getting them.

Please remove me from Full-time, as I don't know how persistantly I can trade my shifts back to late evenings to make races.

I've put you in lower sprint (in GTC, though you could go in GT2 if you prefer). Everything else is full except for Upper (GT1) Sprint.

Dave, looking at the results of the last 2 races, I think it would be better to put me in GTC for the lower endurance if that isn't a problem.

Okay - I don't suppose I can persuade you to run in GT1 in Upper Endurance, as those numbers are slightly light by the looks of it?

OK, I'll think about it Dave. I decided to avoid GT1 because I felt contact was too common last season, whereas the GT2/GTCs are rather more wieldy and drivers seem able to get themselves out of tricky situations much more easily.

 :whistling: dave, not wanting to be awkward but just looking at the lower endurance line ups it seems I have got myself moved into GTC from GT2....however it would appear that it would have been better if I'd moved into GT3 instead....is it too late/feasable/possible/undisruptive etc to do this? No probs if you would rather not move me again...GTC is fine, but from a team point of view I would prefer to see at least one of our numbers in GT3 aswell. :-*

Done - looking at the GTC runners in Lower Endurance, I would imagine most of them will be looking to pester various bits of the GT2 field more than actually racing each other (except the Picnic versus Prof battle of the boats :D).

Already missed the first round of the lower sprint with a pedal problem, and will now be away for round 3 at Spa on 16th October. Can you drop me down to reserve status please Dave?

No registration is needed for reserve status (as per Season 5).

I volunteer if an FT spot is still available.

Reserves spots will be open at any stage of the season.

As a result of the non-response of those who haven't yet used their spots, there are now two spots in Lower Endurance and one in Lower Sprint going.

Just wanted to say I'm still waiting for mid season upper endurance FT spots reshuffle, am sick of being nervous prior to practice 2 (will there be room or not ;D ) ;)

I'd like the lower sprint spot if possible  :)

Above changes done; there are now 3 spots free in Lower Sprint (3!? where did they come from?!), and 6 in Upper Sprint (for which I'm tempted to abandon registration and run the remaining races as an open series).

I am just getting back into GTR2 and wondered if there are any spaces available in one of the sprint classes?  I am not too bothered which one.
I've not been around for a little while bit did do a UKGTR season in GTR.  I would intend to try and make the remaining races.

There are spots in both Upper (GT1) Sprint and Lower (GTC or GT2) Sprint.

If I was to register, if not too late, what class is the lowest, and how long races do sprints and endurance run? And what days do the races go on.

Done. Everything you need to know you should find in the race announcements (see the links in the top right).

The forum calendar shows what runs when and the race announcements tell you everything else. GT3 is the lowest class but the only championship series for that class (Lower Endurance) is full. GTC is the next slowest.

Can you sign me up for whatever GTC races you run on Sundays then?

Both Endurance series are full at the moment, but reserve spots are freely available and based on last night's turnout getting in will not be a problem...

Reserve would be great. Because I can't make it Tuesdays, I guess Sundays are my only option.
