Race distance shortened to 40 minutes for those silly sausages who can't drive economically.

This looks like fun so I've entered the GT class today as a reserve driver. I take it a reserve driver is a driver who is not 100% whether or not he will make the race? I dunno. Anyway, why is the Toledo, M3 etc not eligable for points?

Reserves are also those who for whatever reason couldn't be given full time spots (which are limited by server capacity). The Toledo isn't fast enough to run in GT so we put it in its own class. We don't allow add on cars, and the Z3M (along with the GT3 Cup and Elise) are in G3 because they are uncompetetive in NGT.

OK, thanks Dave. That makes sense.
So when the racing night begins do I just find the session in the lobby and join it?

Yes, just don't join before 20:40 if you're a reserve,

OK, and just one more question regarding the slow cars (Toledo, Z3 etc):
When you say they are not eligible for points, does that mean driver points? I love the Toledo but I'm not going to drive it if I can't score points in it.

Any points, driver or team. There really is no point in taking the Toledo in a GT Sprint race, the proper GT cars will eat you for breakfast and spit out your bones.
