I'd love to Tony, but I'm pretty much committed to my current two days of racing a week and I doubt I'd get a pass for a third. Planning on turning up once the F1VRC series finishes later in the year though.

I bought a new GTL game from gameseek.com. Install seemed to go OK but when I try to run the game (with or without Tony's mods) it says it has to reboot my PC to complete the install. During the reboot windows says there is an error and it can't load windows without doing repairs. The repairs turn out to be the removal of all of the GTL .exe files so I'm back to square one. Anyone else suffered this one? I'm running windows 7 ultimate btw

It's easy enough to uninstall the Starforce drivers then get hold of the dodgy .exe. In case it might be helpful: Anyone with a purchased, legit copy of GTL can download the Steam (No Starforce) version for free, no need to buy it again on Steam. To do this open your Steam app and go to Games/Activate a Product on Steam. Then enter the Product key for GTL in the box (without any dashes or spaces). The Product key is in fact the Online code, NOT the DVD key. If you have a physical boxed copy of the game it's printed on the back of the manual. |

Incidentally, I lose my online key setting when my anti-virus/clean-up system defrags my SSD.   I now keep my GTL box and handbook handy.  |

I've managed to get all of the cars including the F1 in my garage but I can't select the F1 cars for off line practice, what am I missing?
I can race on the server because it lists the F1 cars as selectable

PS I'm still getting a black screen whilst racing which goes after a few seconds, what's the fix for this?

That does sound like a graphics card issue. Take a look at the video settings screen, set everything to low and see if the black screen makes an appearance or not.
