(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules. (3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read Autopit="0" Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable. Special Notes: None.

Tony is this a change of track or an errant mouse? Looks like an admin screw up Bill. Leave it with me and I'll post as soon as I have fixed it. Thanks for letting me know

There is a pit lane speed limit of approx 80kph/50mph. The limiter does not wok in the Maserati so slow down well before the pit lane.

I may make a last minute decision to take part this evening with virtually no practice. Just tried a few laps and seem to spend quite a bit of time upside down. Will have to either get a navigator or learn the track. Will try and join for practice and qualifying. If I’m too much off the pace I will give it a miss. I will drive the yellow peril D Type so I will be visible.

Was having great fun up front for a change, watching ATi falling off in the forest then pitted and forgot (again) that in GTL you have to set the fuel in the pits, so had to stop a 2nd time for fuel, then ran into geoffers in the 1st section, bent steering a bit but felt drivable, but then lost it in the last bit, then in the same jump after the start, and bent steering really bad, and lost power, so limped round and took repairs but they didnt fix anything so quit as I couldn't turn left..

Tried Bremgarten with very few laps practice, not a good idea… A complicated track requiring a lot of respect. Obviously I can only get away with it on the shorter simple tracks. I managed to collide with two (or was it three) banks, some straw bales and a car, sorry, you were sideways across the road as I came round a blind corner and I couldn’t avoid you. I had visited the pits twice for repairs before my suspension finally cried enough. Oh, and I also ended up on the wrong tyres for some reason. Apart from that my race was rubbish. Congrats to winner and podiums and survivors.

a little cheesed off with my PC at the moment. I checked the track/server connection last Thursday and tried a few 1/2 laps. I don't think I completed more than 2 laps out of ten, with Matt doing a similar thing and we both clocked around 2:23. the circuit is broadly similar to the version we have in GPL, but not close enough to say it is "the same". especially that ruddy jump!!! Over the weekend I found myself with time to try a setup and get a few laps proper practice off line. I persevered with that jump and my suspension settings until I clocked a 2:17 on full tanks. I fully expected the aliens to be doing 2:15 or faster in quali, as there were some corners where I knew I was not carrying max speed. So when I joined the server I was sure that sandbags had been deployed by the quick boys when i saw the lap times. But there was no chance of joining the fun as something was definitely "wrong" in the graphics department. There was a hint of it at the last race and turning Shadows off solved the prob, so I turned off shadows...no improvement. Gradually I reduced all of the graphic options with minimal improvement. But whatever i did, by the time I entered the forest section directional control was a total lottery and I spent more time chasing squirrels than running on tarmac. As Tony suggested..it might be time for a new PC in a months time ....are you reading this Santa?
