Bloody power failure, hope my car didn't cause chaos when my pc went down.
Grats to Jon on a nice pole. In the race I was just about able to keep up with Shark who was just about able to keep up with Jon. I was just settling in for a nice race when I found myself staring at a black screen and listening to the house alarm, which luckily muted my cursing.
Hope you all had a good race, see you next time.

Damn. Had a good race, good scrap with Mark over several laps. Made the occasional minor mistake, but was running 4th with 12 minutes to go when my PC locked up. Only the second time it's done that when racing online. Possibly something overheated, it's 32 degrees in my flat. Hope it didn't leave a ghost car in an awkward spot, I was on the exit of a slow corner when it froze. Great pole Jon, hope my team-m8 kept you honest in the race.

Grats to Jon on a great drive. Appologies to Mark who nearly hit me when I had a slight moment at the chicane, great avoiding action mate. Bad luck to the guys who dropped out, especialy Mo, dont think I would have caught you mate. Overall a steady race and always nice to finish on the podium, got the points I needed so job done and managed to retain the drivers championship. To be honset I never expected to win it in season 2 never mind retain it this time round. As always if Jon had raced a couple more times he would be sitting here instead of me. Again its been a pleasure to race with you guys, roll on gtr 2.

Well, I was all over the place today. I was meaning to do some practice at Estoril because I didn't know the track at all but kept putting it off. In the end, I managed 4 laps 30mins before the beginning of Practice. I really didn't know the track still so I was going into the race blindfolded really. Anyway, despite spinning a lot (mostly in the hairpin sections because I applied power to early), I don't think any of the leaders had problems over lapping me. At least I hope not. Bring it to my attention if I did because I need to learn. At the very least, I still picked up some points for 8th place (or something like that) which I'm pleased with. Only one round left is there now?
By the way, Shark pointed out that I hit a chat key before the race was finished. That was purely accidental. I was moving my flute case out of the way as it was heating up the broadband modem and hit they keyboard by accident. I'll be cautious of this at the next round.
Well done to Jon for winning and Shark in a fine second. Also, congrats to Greg on the title. The final round should be a blast with that wrapped up.
Hard Luck to the guys with mechanical problems (power cuts, pc probs etc). Better luck next time out.

Bloody hell it's hot. Bummer Michael, was looking like a good Team Shark points haul tonight until then. I got a PB by 0.1 in qualifying with a slight tweak to the setup to make it not sizzle the rear tyres in 1.5 laps and it worked out nicely. I tried but Jon was just too fast for me. He was about 0.4 faster every lap and I just couldn't keep pace with him. Once the Lambo's rears had got hot it was a case of trying to not do anything stupid. When Mo lost 3rd I sped up a little to give the next guy no hope and then when the gap started to increase to reasonable proportions I backed off a little. Was running about 10 seconds behind Jon with about 5 minutes to go and I just broke a little too late into the really bumpy 2nd gear right hander. I gently went off into the gravel, kept calm and trundled back onto the track losing about 6 or 7 seconds. Still had 10 seconds to Greg behind and cruised to the end in 2nd. Bloody power failure, hope my car didn't cause chaos when my pc went down.
Bad luck Mo. It's a bugger when that happens when you're doing well especially. Would have been close I think to the end between you and me. I was only just pulling away from you. Managed to pull out about 6 seconds when your power cut happened. Didn't know whether you were keeping anything in reserve for later on. Well done on the win Jon. Class act tonight. Congratulations to Greg on the championship win. Very well deserved. Very quick and consistent this season again.

Team championship is VERY tight only 2 points in it.
I think Team Shark will put in a big effort next week to snatch that one off 28CD.

Bloody power failure, hope my car didn't cause chaos when my pc went down. Not really. Your car just froze in turn 2 off the racing line Nice race for me. Started well but I went wide into the 3rd turn on the 2nd lap. Had to let the entire field past before I could rejoin. Luckily there were more people who went wide giving me room to drive to a 4th position. Nice win by the way Jon to snatch that one off 28CD. No you won't

Nice race for me in the end. Shark kept me honest till his slight off then the pressure was off. It always seems so much easier when the pressure's off Nice race all and Grats to Greg on his GT Championship victory Nice one Mate

I'm looking really forward to Monza. I know the track reasonabley well but I've never driven it in this game with no aids so I'll have to do some practice. I'll be aiming to again, keep out of trouble and hopefully not have that many spin offs like I did last night. It'll be just a matter of picking up more points to make one final leap up the leaderboard so hopefully there won't be many finishers
