That was top class indeed. I've worked out why Ant gets so many "Slow Down" penalties, its just to give him someone to race with... lol. Brilliant come back sir.
While following TM, all I could think of, was not spilling my drink. Don't drink and drive, you'll spill it...
Ant got himself in a bit of bother, somewhere along the way, his boot lid had an Elvis top lip as he came past me.
Once again gents, thank you for the opporchancity to do this.

Well done all
I had a bad start on lap 2 just came through T1 wide got a slow down, tried to get out of the way but not the wright move, then I got a good old hit from behind, Sorry D that was because of my bad driver, the I got smacked again by mark. This was as D and I where recovering from our tangle..
The fight back. I was surprised GT didn't run away into the distance, Eick kept him busy which alowed me to catch up, I passed Eick, But GT was difficult to pass, fighting back all the time.. My tyres were yellow and grio was fading but the cheaqured flag came just in time
Nice racing all.. Ant

And that's why I hate slow-down penalties.. Not your fault Ant, I glanced up at the top of the screen when the message came up about a penalty, and when I looked back your car was filling my screen.. Sorry for the hit. Only 6 cars racing and 3 of us taken out in one incident is not good. Actually Spanner and I did have some fun laps circulating around at the back for the rest of the race, but our cars were severely damaged - I was struggling around the hairpin and also kept losing third gear. Good that Ant could recover so well though. Congrats podium.

Hey Frex Its cool, yes I understand about this silly penalties. I think they should issue a warning system and that after the 3rd cut a drive through penalty, that keeping the driver that offended the law out of other races way. Its not the first time accidents have happened because of the slow down penalty. In real life its not like that, oh let's limit the car in a high speed corner in the heat of the race and cause a lot of heart ache.
I am willing to forfeit my win Spanner and be demoted to the back. No problem Bru. I am sorry about this

Gents, with my Director's head on please can I remind people that the forum is not where we discuss who's fault it was etc. If you feel wronged, then put in an incident report, and one or more moderators (not me) will try to give an unbiased 3rd party ruling. We don't get many in these series because mostly we don't need them, some series have reports every week, so don't feel it's for serious crimes only.
The cut track penalties do not have to be slow down, we can use drive through or stop and go, whichever it does. I sometimes turn the penalties off if they are spoiling the fun with overly harsh cuts. Our experience here is that if there are no penalties at all, people will, as they become more intense about catching/staying in front will gradually start to take liberties. The game does give you warnings, if you choose to ignore them, then you get a penalty If you want drive through or stop and go I will happily select that option. I am opposed to having no penalties ever but, as I said, sometimes I turn it off anyway. Someone, Jim? said that if you choose a harsher penalty, it is more relaxed about dishing them out.

I prefer to race with slow down penalties on for reasons Matt has stated above. Running the Crew Chief add on will give you warnings when you exceed the limits before the game gives out a slow down penalty.
If you far exceed the limits you may not receive a warning and quite frankly you deserve to take a slow down for that. It is then up to you to make sure your car is in a safe position and doesn't interfere with other drivers.
Remember also that if you do exceed the limits and lift off the throttle for a second or so before rejoining the track, you will not receive a slow down.
