Can't get lower than 1:19. Seems like the beemer is really off pace... I believe it's more down to this track, or at least this add-on track. (and a poor one at that TBH, where's the god damn scenery as reference points?) You can also floor it in the FWD cars over the bumps but in the Beemer you need to lift slightly or the back end comes round (default setup) This could be one of the worst tracks for FWD vs RWD in WTCC sims as at Donnington the other week I was only a couple of tenths off the Lacetti's time but because I'd had a few more laps in the Lacetti I chose that and with a bit of time changing the setup maybe as fast? Maybe (Hopefully) the BMW pace will show up better at one of the next races at an official track where it can be tested more equally. As in recent years I've seen it as FWD = slightly easier, but more tyre wear and not quite as fast as BMW. RWD = slightly harder, less tyre wear, but a bit faster than FWD. EDIT: meant to say that when I downloaded this track I got big green patches where the gravel traps should be, so I got it from the Nogrip site and it was OK. I had similar problems with the Donnington track too come to think of it.

The beemers were off pace in the first rounds at Brands and Rockingham aswell, so while some of it is track dependent I still think they're weak. I'm happy to leave it as is it....I drive the Leon anyway Starting the practice session on the server now, 'cause I'm on taxi duties again ....have fun.

Yet again I've missed out due to the earlier starting time being used by UKRace07 You were all about half way round your 2nd lap when I was able to get to my PC... Was quite frustrated. Came back to do race 2, only to find you all on lap 1 turn 2. Having put in the practice again this week for Race07, I have again missed out by minutes. Can we please sync the start time up to the other mid-week sims please?

Thanks for doing the results/replays Legzy No problem moving the start time back 10 minutes to 20:40 as long as there are no objections. Personally it won't make much difference as I'm finding it difficult to attend anything atm.....I'm thinking of going the whole hog and putting a taxi sign on the roof of the car Hopefully things will change soon. So, unless anyone objects by this time tomorrow (by pm if you prefer) qualis will commence at 20:20 and races at 20:40.

Sorry I couldn't make this one but looking at the times I would have been off the pace. Still perhaps another time..........

Strange that I'm not even in results, though I qualified and made a few laps in R1 before disco. Made a pb 1:17 and it was still not enough to place the beemer anywhere decent. But I will not budge. This track is nice to drive, you have to be really precise to get anywhere, so it would be ok race if there would be more braves to take BMW. Disco was strange, same as on Tuesday at Race Development, so it's either my connection or game's net code. I didn't do anything else on the net at the time. Will need more testing, I'll probably do that on RD races.

Oh dear, a race night to forget for me It started well with a PB of 1.16.2s in qualifying to take an unexpected 3rd on the grid, but that was it as I took out Gazza at T1 due to cold brakes - apologies, a schoolboy error on my part. It was, however, good fun making my through pack to finish a semi-decent 6th. I got a good start in Race 2 from 3rd on the grid to make 2nd by T1 and I was right behind the AI leader. He then unexpectedly dabbed the brakes on a fast straight and I couldn't avoid him, causing carnage in my wake. My damaged car was crabbing by this point so I quit out.

You think you see a History there or some such?

Great close finish in race 1, just pipped Spanner on the line Race 2 was better until some spinners ahead made me check up and sneaky Ade was able to get through to the lead. Was pushing hard to catch Ade but he was quick until he made a mistake on the fast bend and i was handed the lead. Managed to keep Lazlow 2 secs behind until he made an error in the chicane which allowed me to take the win a little easier.

Quite enjoyed that with a laptime slightly closer to most of you than normal, although there was some serious pace going on in Q and both races.
Race 2 after starting 2nd on the grid, I got a poor get away (really need to practices them more) I was caught up in AI induced L1 incident, nearly got through but just got clipped and ended up in the barrier with aero and suspension damage, but thought I'd have a go at contining. Was a challange to keep the car on track with heavy understeer, I couldn't carry much speed through some of the turns which resulted in a laptime over 2 seconds slower than race 1. The cars ahead, who I think were mainly AI were tantalising around 7 to 9 seconds ahead but couldn't close at all; I could only hope that they might tangle themselves up, but never happened.
Just about got around with seconds to spare without being lapped.
Cheers.
